Lads going back to the question about the father and son all-star in the same position. Richie Power Snr has an all-star at wing forward and Richie Power jnr has an all-star at centre forward. Not quite the same position but fairly close. And if Richie does ever start playing at wing forward that could be another answer to it. Senior and Junior have an all-star at midfield and full-forward respectively.

Is Dinny Long one of the men? Because I was thinking since he won an All-Ireland with Austin Stacks, but he also played for Cork?

Thinking outside the box on this one.

Kevin Kilmurray played for Offaly when they won the All Ireland back in the '70's, he won a club All Ireland with UCD as well around the same time. Did UCD happen to beat Ferbane or Walsh Island in one of the Leinster club finals they won (think they won two or three back then)? Not sure if he played as a midfielder though.

Anywhere along the right lines?

My stab at it would be Dinny Long. But was he still playing for Cork in 1978? And which of those great Kerry players partnered him at MF forvStacks in '77? John O Keefe, perhaps? It's a stab in the dark!

I'm going to go with Dinny Long playing along with John o'Keefe in 77 club final. Then they played against eachother at midfield in the 77 Munster championship.
