Kerry lost to Donegal in 2012, Mayo lost to Cork in 2011 and wasn't it 2009 that Kerry beat the startled earwigs?

I would hazzard a guess that they are all Wexford men from the 1915-1918 All Ireland wins.

Think Sean Kennedy captained them to 3 of them, not sure if he was still about for their last win in 1918 though.

Double checked and Sean Kennedy may have only captained Wexford to three but he played in all four, so think 13508390 original question is wrong.

There is definitely a few Wexford lads that won 4 All Irelands with that great team.

Don't think the question was about who captained them just who won 4.No one in the last 60 yrs I can.think of so your probably right about it been someone from wexford. I reckon maybe maybe a good few from the 4 in a row team

I know the question was not about who captained, but Sean Kennedy did play in all four of those finals, so if the Dublin players named are also correct there is more than 4 non Kerry players to win 4 All Irelands.

Maybe a Wexford poster knows exactly how many of the team played in all four finals?

I have a feeling there might be quite a few more by the end of September but a few hurdles to be jumped yet. Would be interesting to know who he thinks the 4 players are.

Have any football player's won All-Ireland medals playing under assumed names. Priests normally played under assumed names. I think the Mayo corner forward on the winning teams in the early fifties did not play under his own name.

Can you name any footballers who represented their county in both minor and senior c'ships on the same day? I seem to remember Mick Carey of Westmeston doing it.

Would a priest playing under an assumed name be a blessing in disguise?
