but your whole argument is based off nobody getting good support in scotland bar celtic i have showed you 3 other clubs who average over 10,000 at their home games and you still dispute this by pointing to attendences at games when these clubs were playing away from home!!....celtic have won the european cup and also getting to the europe league final was a magnificent achievement again you show your ignorance making more factually incorrect statements celtic have got out of the group more than once the link shows their record in europe

more incorrect pub argument statements with zero to back it up...you again talk complete nonense it is blatantly obvious the vast majority of players who have represented ireland come from the island itself please stop continuing to dispute this provide evidence to show this is not the case please?

hill according to you ''as for your ireland thing come on i listed off top of my head those players and they were all involved in major tournaments''

im struggling to find anywhere where leon best and caleb folan represented ireland in major tournaments..i dont mean to be picky but i do like to argue in terms of facts especially if we are talking about subjects such as attendences and the irish national team......please use facts please its not that hard

Lads & lassies - this thread was supposed to air the merits or otherwise of Jimmy McGuinness opting for a professional sports contract outside of Gaelic football while still maintaining his role as Donegal football manager.

There is an eleven a side forum for discussing the other issues now being painfully posted.

just on the jimbo situation i wonder with all these defctions to other sports sweetman to munster kilkenny to aussie rules mcguinness to celtic i wonder would the same congratulations be given to a gaa player or manager who took up an offer to join rangers and leave the gaa, would that person be patted on the back?

why would you pick only a single round of matches and then claim scotland is poorly attended league?..the average attendence would obviously be a far better statistic to used do you have any education at all on these matters?...its not a fixation hill i just dont see the point with somebody making idiotic points with nothing to back them up surely you should only make statements in relation to attendence or plastic paddys if you can actually back them up with actual evidence to support your point?..my issue is not your opinion my issue is you trying to claim stuff as fact which as i have proven are not fact...where did i make celtic out to be the greatest club in the world i said they were a big club that is it....have an opinion but if you want to get in an argument especially about something as specific as attendences actually look at the evidence before you say something as your opinion will come off looking very silly as it has done here...they were not picked for the tournament that is why they were not there they did not even make the squad...move on

Maybe one or two notables would be happy with him joining NewCo. but comparisons between both clubs are not sensible....both have much different histories and backgrounds

I cant possibly see how this move is going to work.Gaa is almost professional in terms of its approach regardless of the money. What will Donegal feel of a manager that cant give it his all and how is Jim going to make time for his family around this hectic schedule. Its not going to work in my opinion.Cork or Mayo to win sam 2013
