they are doing more to get people out of ireland then they are to create jobs here for them, lowers the amount of money they have to pay out on the dole each week thats all they are doing.you should lighten up it wont kill you

Lighten up? Right so if you say so...

There's plenty of other things that won't kill me.

Like wishing a talented player well when he takes a once in a lifetime choice to better himself...

yes or having this notion that the gaa is going to die because some mentality or because it is standing still just cause dublin is losing some lad to a sport where if he doesnt make it will come back a much superior athlete then he was before for dublins use?

I could yeah, but there's quite a few sports I support and watch and take great enjoyment from, I can hardly wish him to join all of them can I?

If the lad has come out and said he wants to take the chance to try his hand at being a professional athlete, as well as him being able to take the chance to develop and grow on a personal level from living in a foreign country and experiencing a different culture, then why would I want to wish he turned down the chance?

thats pefectly understandable to have that wish hill...what most of us seem to find very hard to understand is the utter contempt you have for him on the matter

but the gaa trains every bit as professionaly as any other sport all thats missing is the money for doing it thats my whole point in why he is going.
its an opinion not a contempt or a slur or whatever you want to label it.you keep responding to that opinion trying to get me to change it is what it feels like just beacuse you feel differantly.

it is clearly a slur hill when you use the term sell out or compare him to someone selling themselves for money?...how are they not slurs?...and afl lads come back way better all round athletes due to professional training so going over there is quite useful for them

if it was just an opinion offer your opinion and leave it at that..its just wrong and nobody at all agrees with you as you see no reason as usual

explain to me how it is not a slur?...i have already answered your question on numerous occasions saying his move is not motivated by money but more so opportunity and the chance to better himself by playing sport at a professional level

despite what you argue..a lot of professional sportsmen are not motivated by money that just comes with the territory
