Meath v. Mayo

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

The Master sums it up perfectly there , all valid points and very hard to dispute.

Good luck to the Meath minor team.

We might even cheer them on before our seniors on final day.

Master just one thing ball wasn't touched on ground it was slightly off the ground when picked up, now the only way I am sure about that is to watch it in slow motion. Thosecalls can go either way but on that time it was correct as for handpass maybe it was illegal,it's a obstructed view so hard to tell, but it d does look as if he palmed it. But I still think we would have won. I mean before one of Mayo's points in first half the ball was thrown. The facts are these things happen in all games but just cause of timing this is been highlighted

Mayo looked good on sunday, but sort of bottled it in the end! Its easy to blame
the referee (have a tendency toward that myself), but at the end of the day, a
really good team will beat the referee too. The mayo senior's should take note
of that, since they will be playing Dublin/the hill and the referee on sunday !

you're right the players really did bottle it. they were lucky meath didn't finish off those goal chances in the first half and really should have gone for it in the second half.

BettystownRoyal, you could say meath bottled all those chances... At least they had one man capable of making a difference when the pressure came on, shame he was from tyrone though.

I can recall certain Meath posters on here previously being loud about the fact that they had a problem with people having a cut off minor players.

These same posters are now doing what they had a problem with.

Your classlessness is really coming to the fore.

Well sedico i think no one hear is having cut at minors and as for your statement re classlessness class house's and all that, look at your own county crusade to bring the gaa into the gutter. 37 secs. Try to sort out your own counties carry on before you lecture counties of proud tradition.
