He probably will land an All Star. Although surely one of those forward slots will go to Meehan after his game on Saturday.

another thing about the lad is he was only 70 percent or so fit.imagine what he would have done to bellew for 70 minutes if he was 100 per cent fit.footballer of the year without a doubt.

Looks a cert for an all-star alright, but footballer of the year? I'm not so sure. That usually comes from the all-ireland winners and I don't see Wexford winning sam.
As I've said I think it will probably turn out to be a Kerry-Dublin final(would love to be proved wrong), and I would be very surprised if it didn't come form one of those two teams.

Mattie in the shakeup but by no means certain to get one. Meehan will not get an all-star as they don't give them based on one big performance unless it's the final.

Alot of football left to be played I reckon it will come down to between - O'Mahony, Donaghy, O'Sullivan, A. Brogan, Jayo, Shane Ryan as I cant see tyrone, wexford or cork getting to the final

I say matty is a cert because wexford will probably get at least 2 now they're in the semi, and I don't see two other wexford players getting alll-stars ahead of forde, especially since he's the one responsible for getting them to the semi.
Galways lack of games will cost meehan one I think, teams who go out in the quater finals don't usually get an all-star award unless they came through the qualifiers, so they'd have more games to play. I don't think it'll be too long before meehan gets one though.

handy footballer alright, but ya know its easier to be a big fish in a little pond.

to be kind about it i will say the jury is out.

wexford is alittle pond in the gaa and looked at with amusement by serious counties like mayo , kerry etc. keep up the ole football by all means but ..................... Know Your Limits.
