well you were only pointing out the decisions he made that effected mayo so if your going to state a ref is bad for both teams surely you should be giving equal reasons

Fair enough, but over the last while on the main page when people are discussing this game and these incidents I feel that for the most part the comments relate to how McQuillan may have favoured Mayo over Dublin. Maybe I just felt the need to balance things up a little bit with some of the decisions and calls that went Dublins way, like I said I couldn't remember the Fennell one outright, and a it's a sign of a poor display by the ref to turn his back to the ball as one team is attacking.

Plus to be fair if a he made a decision "that effected mayo" then surely the same decision would have had an impact on Dublin also. No single decision can affect one team only.

Still waiting on the master to condemn Mayo's cynical (with in the rules and perfectly legal) tactics employed against Dublin!
Personally I don't condemn those tactics as they are well within the rules. However the master has been on a soap box for years
regarding cynical play and fail to denounce it when his own county does it! It smacks of hypocrisy!

I'm indifferent to Mayo tbh killer, can take them or leave them, its hypocrisy from some Mayo
supporters that gets me!
I just want to hear mayo's cynical play (which I enjoyed watching tbh) condemned and not
denied by themaster!
Its not too much to ask killer, he is the first to criticize others for similar tactics!

I have already addressed this on two separate threads that you shoe-horned this issue into. You cried off both times.

Mayo did utilise cynical play, I'm sure Horan is fully aware that a goal to us Dubs is worth far more than 3points but they played by the rules and beat us fair and square. They are not the only team to utilise such tactics and it is up to the powers that be to change the rules if they want goals. There is no punishment at the moment to deter players fouling persistently when the opposition are in on the goal thats not Mayo's fault. The main thing they need to do at the top is take the time keeping away from the ref and employ the system they use in the ladies football.

Gatekeeper, you are like that guy off Austin Powers that has to ask the same question 3 times! I have answered it twice. Clearly an answer is not what you are after

Answer it clearly and once more. Just for the record.

The question was never answered clearly themaster, and, because of this failure to confirm
that Mayo are adept at 'the dark arts' (tactics you are vehemently against) your integrity as
an exponent of fair-play is brought into question!

Its a one-word answer themaster.
Did Mayo employ negative and cynical tactics against Dublin?
Yes / No.

Didnt answer it clearly? Is your screen blurry or something? I addressed the points put to me in detail, twice. You ran away from the thread afterwards and just started saying the same thing on another thread. That is a good indication of your intentions with this garbage. I wont post it again. Go and root out the other two threads you ruined with this off-topic spiel.

Jesus did anyone read Tommy Conlons article in yesterday's independent about Dublin? Very harsh and way over the top. You could feel the hatred in his writing. Not fair to say what he said about amateur players.
