Well done Mayo really put it up to Dublin today, when the chips were down the fancy dans could not match Mayo. The Dubs all ireland last year will forever be tainted.

Ha Ha....loser gripes from the Kerry animals again. Hammered in the minors and nothing to do in the third week of September. Last year still hurts you boys :)

Can everyone stop with all the revisionist posts about today's game having anything to do with last year! Seriously, get over yourselves. There's no such thing as a handy All-Ireland! It's a knock-out competition, whoever wins it wins it. Dublin beat Tyrone, Donegal and Kerry last year, three top sides. On another day they could've beaten Mayo. Same as the matches they got out the right side of last year. That's how tight the margins are. Making big conclusions in hindsight does not require or indicate intelligence.

Sick as a dog. Well done Mayo fair play the better team won. Please lads agree doh roc best full back in Ireland by a country mile he was outstanding today. I'm cheering for Mayo in the final come on Mayo bring it back to Castlebar. To Dublin supporters keep the head up are underage teams are not winning by a point were actually hammering teams out the gate the future is bright the future is blue.

Well done Mayo.

How did Dublin's full-back Rory O'Carroll stay on the field.

Louth's Darren Clarke received a straight red for pulling a Westmeath player off the ground when Louth and Westmeath met in a first round qualifier game in Mullingar at the start of the summer.

The writing was on the wall for everyone to see that Dublin would be found wanting.

Their one big win over Louth wasn't surprising really because Dublin's John O'Leary was working with Louth and therefore Dublin would have an inside take on what to expect from Louth. They wouldn't have needed it to beat Louth but they had access to it anyway.

Amazing game . Thought cafferky was unreal today . He s a brilliant full back . Thought Dublin were lucky to keep 14 men on pitch today . I think cluxton now has to be regarded as best free taker the game has ever seen . One near the touch line today was sensational

The ROC wasn't even the best full back on the pitch today, Cafferkey made BB look average as he had another massive off-day, or is he just not able to perform without the brilliance of his older brother?!? Cafferkey has an All-Star in the bag now, and O'Carroll had some very questionable "defending methods" today. He won't have endeared himself to any naysayers, that's for sure.

Well Done Mayo. Some great scores in the first half by Mayo . Dublin simply kicked too many wides in the first half, although they came back in the latter part of the second half there was simply too much to do. We squandered a lot of primary possession and paid the price.

Well done mayo, first half performance won it for you. ye have some brilliant players.
bringing an injured brogan on in an allireland semi ,with kevin mc on the bench is crazy.

we will be back.

McCauley's inability to do anything other than run down an infinite amount of blind alleys re-affirms my confusion as to how he is rated so highly as a footballer by a lot of posters on this site.

Thought he was Dublin's best player today.

Most unusual game both sides had periods of total supremacy and Mayo made more use of theirs. Its absolutely great to think that either the citizens of Mayo or Donegal are going to be celebrating an All Ireland win. I believe supporters of every County deserve that feeling at least once in their lives. In terms of the Final, I will be supporting Mayo but I'm pretty sure that Donegal will win. Commiserations to Dublin supporters but at least the 2nd half fightback restored some pride and ye went down like Champions should. I think the Dublin game is about getting goals, today the luck was out in that department, ye came close a couple of times but then again so did Mayo. In the final analysis Mayo deserved the win and the best of luck to them in the Final.

Fair play to mayo today, better team as dublin hardly kicked a ball for 50 minutes and left themselves too much to do.as the fathers a mayo man,it mightnt be all bad in the house but still hard one to take.mayo were extremely cynical which was sad to see but their style of football is beautiful.looks like il be wearing the green and red come the 4th sunda in september this year:)

ROC certainly got on the goodside of mcquillan. Watching him today on two occasions in the first half,he won good ball and then took two steps followed by a two step pirouette and then three steps into a tackle. Got a free out on both occasions. His manhandling of a,player stretchered out with a broken nose was a disgraceful act and he is lucky that the ref dealt with it.
