Laois v Dublin

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Erin go Braith are based out of Castaheany/Littlepace. I think the Clonee-Dublin 15 thing is that kind of thing where people choose the nice little village as the area where they live rather than the estates and areas in the other direction where there is occasional trouble. I should know (honest confession time), I live around the area. And Clonee is definitely in Meath.

Doublehop clonee village is 100 per cent part of Meath no one is saying it isn't but the suburbs east of the village are 100 per cent in Dublin. For example; Beechfield Way Clonee Dublin 15.

Superbluedub,
Dry up there will you? What's your problem with that comment? Totally innocuous. You hardly expect me to shout for the Dubs? Especially over the neighbours? As for lads being put off well I think there will be. Sheesh, Da Dubs can be awful sensitive at times. Now that's predictability right there!!

keep an eye on the ballboys behind the goals............cluxton had a ball passed to him almost before the ball went wide from laois's first attack (a laois free)......the lads behind the laois goals are very slow with returning the ball.

Probably not as the goal was an own goal and wouldnt have counted without the touch.

Have to hand it to Laois so far. They're playing the All Ireland Champions who are showing superior skill & flair, yet they are only behind thanks to a fortuitous goal

Very workmanship performance against superior opposition so they're to be commended so far.

Whether they can keep it up for 70 minutes is another matter cos the Dubs will certainly play for 70 minutes

You'd have to wonder how long Bernard Brogan can keep his starting position for Dublin. Has not produced it since 2010 and is living of that reputation.
Can safely say he wouldn't come next to near the Louth starting team

I think it's fair to say Brogan has underperformed in 2012 although he's not the only one on the Dublin team on that front. But to say he hasn't performed in almost 2 years is stupid. Did you happen to notice his contribution in Dublin winning the AI last year?

That's a p*** take and nothing else. Louth would not only start him but expect him to single-handedly take out the opposition. If you're looking for under performance, just look at you own team this year.

Heard that too. Oh well, at least they're both good at sticking the ball between the posts!
