clonee falls under fingal jurisdiction since it has been built up from a rural area to a town its boundaries now cross the meath and dublin border

Clonee town is in Co.Meath. I remember a Dublin person saying" Who do those Meath people think they are,they think they own Clonee",They didn't know I was in the room and from Meath,but if anything it's the other way around,Clonee is part of Co .Meath..

Darndale doesn't fall under the jurisdiction of Fingal Co Co. It's Dublin Corporation/City Council or whatever they call themselves these days I think.

However it is in Fingal.

Fingal was historically everywhere in Dublin north of the river.

Clonee village is in Meath, the suburbs built to the east of Clonee village are in Dublin and named clonee and that my friend is a fact. Sure Bray Robert Emmetts pitches and club house are in Dublin, parts of North Bray are in Dublin, just like parts of Drogheda are in Meath.

This Clonee thing set me off to have a look at Google Maps.
The village (main stree) of Clonee is indeeed in Meath but there are a whole pile of estates just east of it and all bar one very small one are in Dublin.

They would all have Clonee Co Dublin postal (Dublin 15 ??) postal addresses.

Is Erin Go Braith the local GAA Club in the East Clonee area. I had heard of it but never knew where it was based.

As for Dublin / Laois game, I think Dublin will win, by about 5 points but it will not be easy.
