I had a real feeling we would get Kerry, pleased now we did. I don't subscribe to the view that which either of these two prevails on Saturday, that they are genuine contenders for Sam, because they are not. Truth is Saturday has its own sub plots beyond the bigger picture, Kerry will be desparate to set the record straight against Tyrone whilst Tyrone will want to maintain the hold they currently have over the kingdom and prove to the doubters that the victories in the noughties were not of the one off variety, so there is plenty on offer for the supporters and neutrals alike. I don't believe that home advantage will be a determinant either, in fact I'm glad its not in Omagh as we have tended to struggle there recently in many big games. If I have to call this one then I will take Tyrone to win by 2 points.

I'm afraid to say it but this is the shot in the arm that Kerry needed. They were very narrowly beaten in an All Ireland final last year and ageing legs aside they will be formidable opposition in their home town. They got out of jail yesterday but expect a different Kerry v Tyrone. A good tight game in prospect but the Kingdom to take it in the end and progress.

Understandably, fans from either county probably won't admit it but the winner of this will have a real sting in their tail come the quarters. This game is too close to call. Tyrone appear to be finding some form yet Kerry appear to be struggling. The problem here is Kerry usually limp through the qualifiers and then produce in Croke Park. Are they ready for such a test? Kerry nearly won an All Ireland last year and are not as far in remission as some like to say. If they produce a big performance they should win. The big question remains, whats the chances are that they will deliver such a performance?

I hope the GAA see's sense and moves this game to a halfway neutral venue , Tyrone have had to play all their championship matches away and a trip to Killarney will be a trip to far for me this year, the credit crunch is killing me I can't afford Spring water for my whisky !

I can't see them moving it forty, think of the crying match?! Lol
Its a long way to go, but wouldn't it be worth it, puting the
'kingdom' out of the championship in their own backyard?!
Up Tyrone

What about us Kerry fans who have had to go away to all our games this year, tipp, cork and mullingar yesterday.Luck of the draw and thats the way it is.

On the game itself tyrone have to be clear favorites,Kerry are playing brutal stuff at the moment and havent a hope of winning an AI if Jack keeps persisting with this style of play..

Could bring the best outa Kerry but I really hope Tyrone win. Kerry were very fortunate v Wmeath and but for the Ref would have left with their tail well & truly between their legs.
Two ageing teams but both still good enough to give Sam a shake.
Kerry would love to get one over their recent great rivals but even if they do, it still wont balance the books. Tyrone by 3 points

TV3 can go take a running jump. There are no floodlights in Killarney so 7pm is too late. 2pm would not be fair on Tyrone supporters so 5pm looks the best bet.

What is all the ageing crap about? We have only Mulligan, Joe McMahon, Gormley as regular starters from the good old days. The rest are as fresh as a daisy, raring to prove themselves. Your stuck in 2011 ballybannon!

CKH - Got to agree this Tyrone and Kerry game is the biggest of the year, will totally dwarf the Ulster and Leinster finals. Come on now which is more interesting? Watching a grudge match betweem two of the greats in Gaelic footbal in Kilarney where the outcome is uncertain or a dire Ulster Final between the least entertaining team thats ever played the game in the form of Donegal and a Leinster final between a divison three team managed by a Monaghan man and the all ireland champs!! I rest my case

Have to laugh at people saying Tyrone are finding form, improving etc. They've found form and have improved, end off!! Tyrone were immense through the league and had one bad day in the final, played great stuff against Armagh, played well against Donegal with Donegal hanging on in the final minutes and destroyed Roscommon.
This is a very good playing, well drilled Tyrone team and the team that beats them, if beaten from now on will travel far n this years championship.
Some of the Donegal players reckon there was more intensity in the Tyrone game than in Dublin game from last year and we all know how Dublin got on so don't count them out.
Kerry will lift their game for this but don't think that camp is in best spirits.

It's Tyrone for me by 2-3 points.

Got to say Nothing beats being in an Ulster football final in Clones in July, Dublin playing another Leinster final in Croke park doesn't really gets my juices flowing and then theres the Rd3 Qualifier between Tyrone and Kerry something for everyone this weekend .
