Just a thought, with Cian on the bench, who do people think would be taking penalties if we got one! Also I presume Joe will be on the 45's and Farlo on the rest of the frees? How do yas think they'll do?

Joe I'd say would take them, but carroll does take them for ballinabrackey so you never know.

These days you don't get many 45's to be fair.

Giles would take a penalty I'd say! Seriously though Carroll could take the 45s/penalties (if any) if he takes them for Ballinabrackey. Joe also scored a 45 against Kildare which was really good to be honest.

joe hit some 45 alright, serious length and height in it. who would you want taking them into a packed hill 16 with 16,000 dubs screaming and booing at ye?

Thats irrelevant. If we get even one 45/long range free/penalty someone has to take it! Could be difference between winning and loosing, and playing against the AI Champions we need to take every chance, thats why it crossed my mind, especially with Cian on the bench.

yeah thats the thing with cian not starting if we get long range frees or 45 then we dnt have an great options, joes 45 against kildare was very good but id stil prefer cian taking them, i know he hasnt been that great with frees lately but if he was on form with them, jesus you could put the house on him. theres some days when hes on form with them and he just puts every thing over.

I'm sure one of the stewards on the hill will take your place. I'm sticking with my figure of 16,000 exactly.

Oh it'd be great if there were no royals on the Hill. Alas, ye always find a few who manage to sneak in :) JOKE!!!!

yeah carroll could take them, it will be a big difference taking a penalty into a packed hill 16 with 15999 dubs screaming at ya than in ballinabrackey and the only thing facing you in boyne park is the cow looking in from the other field lol

If a Meath player taking a 45 into the hill wore a blindfold and earplugs I'd give him every chance of scoring!

I'll take the bloody peno if get one!! and I wouldn't worry about me missing the target either.......I'd be more worried me missing the ball giving my lack of coordination by that stage.

In fairness on the other hand there is nothing better than silencing the hill and all you can see is the small green flag being raised! And nobody likes doing that more than the Meath boys! C'mon Brayer, Farlo, Big Joe give us some goals......Peader and Cian bag a few off the bench.......Brace Queeny to add his customary points to finish them off. UP THE ROYAL.
