Rumours circulating on Twitter. I'd say Jacqui Hurley has a decent source.

I Know Harpsman, 18 years is a long time since our 5th All Ireland success. Where exactly do Armagh stand on that list?

'Statistics' such as these are nonsense. I'm sure the Dublin footballers of 2011 weren't saying to themselves before the final 'well, if we lose we'll still have 23 All Irelands' - especially since their last one came in 1995.

If you're still talking about yesterday, you've done nothing today. Cavan have more Ulster Titles than anyone else, but it would be embarrassing for them to throw that up in an argument considering their poor run of form lately. Likewise Kilkenny footballers have appeared in more AI Finals than Fermanagh... but it doesn't mean anything.

From 2000-2009 Kerry won 5 All Ireland's. That's 5 in 10 years compared to the 5 you won in 127 years! That you's boast about it is embarrassing, like Trrone with their 3 stars on the jersey! Ulster as a province has 16 All Ireland's, less than half of what Kerry have and less than Dublin. Keep quiet.

DHarpsman, may I remind you Kerry never got one over Down to win any of those All Irelands in the 128 years off the GAA, even going back as recent as two years ago ;)

Oh for god sake this stupid stat. You've played them something like 5 times in that 128 year period! The way you go on you'd think you've played them every year!

Down posters on here really do spout some shi*
Boo hoo, Down haven't beaten Armagh in championship football in almost 2 decades, whoopty doo, who cares?
Who cares if Kerry have never beat Down. You conviently forgot to mention that up until two years ago Down were never beaten in
an All Ireland final....

History means nothing when it comes down to the present.

You want to talk about the present? Ok well Down are sitting in the Ulster Final and the wee orchard county is bucked out and without a manager

MissDown the fact that we are without a manager at the minute is a bonus to us, the previous guy has thankfully gone back to your own neck of the woods.
