Apologies in advance but I can't let go!

Just a quick thought. Are Dublin hurling fans true supporters? Are Louth football fans true supporters? Are Irish rugby fans true supporters? I ask this in the context of the recent hammerings these three counties/international teams got from the best teams around in their sports and yet they were not singing and cheering for ten mnutes after these hammerings. There was no Molly Malone or Fields of Athenry to be heard.

Any thoughts!!

That's actually a joke that was going round the terrace in Portlaoise on Saturday.

A long the lines of anytime Kilkenny got a score someone would inevitably shout "C'mon now......LOW LIE...."

i dont class somebody who watches their team getting hammered and sings and enjoys themselves at the same time a true supporter,
a true supporter should be dissapointed watching their team getting a hiding not enjoying a sing song tanked up on booze you obviously wouldnt care much about your teams display with that carry on

Several years ago a bunch of Plastic Paddies from luton came to their first away game, brussels i think, in their enthuaism to get the craic going one of them distributed A4 sheets with the words of a few gems printed out. Low lie appeared as .......Blow dry the fields et etc..... great crowd though.
