All Ireland Minor Football Championship 2012

It's also quarter final weekend at minor level. I think Tyrone,Dublin,Tipp should progress to the semi final but the hardest game to call is our own game v Kerry, hopefully with a bit of luck we can reach another All Ireland semi final.

I'd say Tipp, Kerry, Dublin and Tyrone will win. Kerry are 5/4 with Paddy Power a great bet considering Ros struggled past a very weak Mayo team.

Well personally i thought Mayo could of very well beat this mighty Roscommon team the last day, we owned the second half but in typical Mayo fashion couldn't finish, Gallagher in midfield ran the show.

We will win against Kerry. Roscommon don't really have to get out of third gear to beat Mayo minors anymore

Kerry are improving all the time and Roscommon will find it hard. This could be the best game Sunday of the 3.

You only have to look at Connacht's record in minor level the last decade to know there's no weak teams in that province anymore. For example If Galway had won the semi final they would have been one of the All Ireland favouitres now.

Saying that Tipp,Kerry are very strong and i fancy them to beat the Connacht teams and will be major shock if Dublin,Tyrone don't reach the semi finals.

Let me guess you didn't arrive into the match into 20 minutes to go? truth be known the game should have been over as contest at half time then we played defensive mode (what we have we hold) and it almost cost us.

You talked above about Mayo couldn't finish well wasn't a problem for you in that game in fact we kicked 15 wides and owned most of the game. Ross2013 has a fair point

last three results

Mayo 1-8 Roscommon 3-8
Mayo 0-4 Roscommon 2-6
Roscommon 0-10 Mayo 0-8

We didn't have to play at our best to beat you.

After only scoring 1-6 v Sligo,0-8 v Roscommon where did that Mayo 0-18 performance come from? always great to see the underdog win!

Yes they could but Tyrone v Dublin is the fancied final now.

Great win for Mayo but it shows up the system again, Mayo edge past Sligo loose to Roscommon to reach the 1/4 final meanwhile Tipp beat Kerry, Cork and Kerry again and have bad day and out they go

Dont know what point you are making lilyboy but guess its a dispersion on connacht football which has more than held its own over the last decade in minor,u-21. Roscommon had to beat leitrim, mayo and Galway to win connacht. I dont see anything easy about that path
