Just back from the game, battled bravely but well beaten in the end by a very impressive Dublin team. All the best to them for the rest of the year.

Well done dublin, it will be a great double header on 22nd. Hard luck kildare, I don't slag underage teams so best of luck in the future.

Some on here would want to give it a rest where underage players are concerned, by all means have a pop at their management or lack of it, but not the lads themselves no matter what the scores.

Unfortunately missed the game last night... just reading the reports

That was some 2nd half performance... very encouraging sign for the rest of the year

Meath in the final now... hopefully we'll be able to put a double together. Far from easy though...

After minor final heart break last year, I hope the lads can push on now... we possibly left one behind last year.

Still though a fair few of those same minores tasted AI glory within the year with the U-21's

All in all a great result for Dublin football last night

the minor and senior finals were opposites last year. dublin should have won the minor and kerry the senior. both teams threw it away.

with kildare minors suffering a heavy defeat i wonder will their county board look to other counties for players from a younger age

dublin should have won the minor. Ah but Tipp did (:-). It wasn't a fluke. They have been behind at half time in all but 2 of their matches, including 11 points behind against Kerry in Thurles last year and 7 points in their second meeting in Limerick. So if we don't win the AI this year whoever beats us will.

Some big talk from some keyboard warriors on this forum today about the Kildare minors defeat. Maybe ye can all go down to secondary schools around Kildare next month and abuse them in person when they're collecting their leaving cert results. Although I doubt any of ye are even brave enough to do that. Big brave men the lot of ye.

these lads are only 16/17/18 years old. there's no need for any of the comments from certain people on here!

Promises to be a good, exciting minor Connacht final on Sunday it will probably be a better game the senior one IMO. We beat a good Galway team in the semi final and now we face a Mayo side just as good if not better. All the best of luck to Roscommon on Sunday.

Back to back Connacht minor titles won delighted with that. Kerry next up another big test maybe a double header in Tullamore?

Another day another referee who give Monaghan some very soft frees and Tyrone nothing a blatant penalty turned down away even stevie wonder would have awarded that to tyrone but never the less the young red hands despite the best efforts of the referee to deny them a 22nd Fr Murray cup class told in the end. Dublin are rightly all Ireland minor fav's on todays game .

great performance by the Dublin minors today to easily account for a poor Meath side however i would have Tipp as favourites. Leinster minor has been awful this year as this Dublin team is not as good as the team last year yet the are beating teams with ease they have not been tested yet and think they could get a rude awakening when they get a proper championship game.

Tyrone minors were very accomplished yesterday despite the poor standard of refereeing. A lot of their main men are returning from injury, they look good to deliver a third minor all ireland in 5 years for the county.
