Wins for Dublin,Westmeath,Kildare & Meath.

Semi final line up

Dublin v Kildare
Meath v Westmeath

I'd fancy another Meath v Dublin final.

Will the games be played at a neutral venue? Dublin v Kildare could be played in Navan and Meath v Westmeath in either Newbridge or parnell park. I'd prefer them to do a double header in either navan or parnell.

You were a bit wide of the mark in your prophecy.
Always next year eh?

didn't even notice georgee's rants and thought you were saying that to me shldrs2dwheel!! I just don't read his useless posts ha. yeah looks like louth were put to sleep today by kildare and meath are in a strong position now. surely we will beat westmeath and have a shot for the leinster trophy. and even if we lose we make the quarters but i'd rather win as you'd have a chance of playing kerry instead of tipp if we lose.

Yeah good man George don't drown in your cornflakes there lad, remember Meath did win Leinster Minor Championships in 2006 and 2008 and were in the final last year so whilst our minor record might not be earth shattering its still the best in the north east

also 2 all ireland semi's and a norrow defeat to tipp last year, were not bad at this grade the past few years.

Meath will beat Westmeath handy, dont know how westmeath have gotten this far. Kildare and dublin will be close but i think kildare will win it with home advantage being a big factor.

@Sashman. What do you know about this Westmeath team to make such a ridiculous statement.

I know that their no good thats what i know. They had a poor leinster league campaign, lost heavily to a very poor Louth team in the first round and then beat the Leinster heavyweights Carlow and Wicklow narrowly and all of a sudden they are 60 mins away from a all ireland quarter final. Meath will hockey them.

No one in meath will be looking further than westmeath. They are a decent side and carr has them well tuned.
I do think this current meath minor team are quite good and they are slightly unlucky in that tipp and dublin have 2 of the best minor set ups in recent times.
If we get over westmeath I suspect it will be dublin in final but kildare are no pushovers from what I have heard so may cause a shock and beat dublin.
Leinster final could be close if it is meath and dublin as league final was nip and tuck.
One thing is that despite what people had hoped meath may not be that long in the doldrums.

I have been told that Kildare have home advantage against Dublin but don't know about Meath and Westmeath. Last year in the semi Dublin had home advantage against Kildare.

No tyrone? big mistake, this is a very strong minor team. Arguably stronger than our teams from 2008 and 2010 in my opinion. Some outstanding footballers. We're expecting big things of this team this year and in the years to come.

I did say the winner of Tyrone v Armagh would win Ulster. The loser is out of the championship remember. To say Tyrone are stronger than 08,10 is a hell of a statement. Did you reach that conclusion from league form? Armagh walked the Ulster league last year but couldn't produce that form in the championship.
