Kildare v Tyrone - Division Two League Final...

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Loyal, Callaghan has niggling ankle and foot injuries. He has to wear special boots, it's a long term problem with him.

Not that a second tier final means anything at all but Tyrone will win this one. Both teams play the same game, only it's Harte's invention, so Tyrone are better at it and have better footballers. It's beneficial to both teams to have a competitive game in Croke Park close to the championship.

can't really see tyrone [3rd/4rd best team in ulster] beating kildare. tyrone may have stormed through the league this year but this will be an all together different challenge .......kildare are a top side who are well capable of beating any of the other counties in the country............can't see tyrone beating them ............kildare by 2/3 points............easily

Kildares midfield is suspect. O Neill had a shocker in salthill a few weeks ago but McGeeney seems to like him. Big opportunity for chawky white to stake a claim for a starting position. We still have callaghan, flynn and early to come back in so were still not at full strength but this team is alot stronger than the team kildare put out against tyrone in the first round, Think its gonna be close but i think( hope) kildare will nudge it.

Good luck to both teams, this will be a close match and should be a cracker too, both capable of winning but on overall form I give a hesitant nod to Tyrone.

This is crazy 7k in croker yesterday and another poor crowd today. These games should be at different venue. Portlaoise, clones, this just makes the games look bad. No atmosphere there can't be in a stadium that size with crowds that poor. Bring it to stadiums where atmosphere would be great as its smaller venue.

Poor crowd and to be honest poor game. Hopefully it improves.

Blanket defenses, hand passing. Puke football at its worst. Neither team trying to play football.
