Looks like its ratoaths championship to lose, seen them play in league recently again carnaross. Can't see any one in junior bar cortown.....maybe. very strong team ratoath. Work very well as a unit. Has anyone seen any other stand out teams for junior? Dunsany?

accoring to posters on here they should win it every year
they dont have the bottle to win anything
look at the size of the place, they should be senior nevermind junior

Clonard could be in with a chance if they make the knockout stages

Ratoath are always the same, do well in early stages but when the big day comes they dont deliver
Where were they last year? or the year before that , seem them a few times this year , nice team but very small and get easily pushed about
The bigger more physical teams like Cortown and Dunsany would do a job on them i reckon
I still think its Kilmainhams or Drumbaraghs to lose

Kilmainham, Curraha, Ratoath, Kilmainhamwood and Dunsany. Any takers? Trim and slane prob be poorest game cant call that one, both not going great by all accounts. This championship is blighted with immigration battle of who can hold on to players, wins.

2nd last Round so bit of sorting out to be done

Group A has been tough all year Wins for Cortown and Dunsany will see it settled and I expect to see that happening with Bridigs and Clonard bowing out. This Division will be sorted before the last round takes place.
Curraha will beat Moylagh and so Moylagh will head for the Relegation not that that will matter as Slane or Trim already doomed.

Group B
Top place at stake as Kilmainham face Summerhill Kilmainham will sneak it. Kwood will handle Duleek/Bellewstown to set up a winner take all Summerhill v Kwood last round game. Hill will seal a Quarter Final spot there. Slane and Trim loser here will face Junior B next year and methinks it could be Slane.

Group C
Another Group that could be settled before the last round as Ratoath will take Drumbaragh but not without a struggle. If Bective beat OMahonys then the group is sown up with Ratoath and Bective going through. Bective got their fright v Drumconrath and that should be enough to see them handle OMahonys. Drumconrath should be able for Skyrne so Skyrne to prolong their season with a relegation battle that they should handle.

Group D
Don/Ash v Simonstown a draw here and a win for Dunboyne could see the group settled could easily happen but Ashbourne will win. Dunboyne will know they where in a game when they face Meath Hill. This will be tight but Hill maybe by a point or two. Kilbride to face Moylagh in Relegation

Quarter Final Line up
Dunsany v Meath Hill
Cortown v Don/Ash
Kilmainham v Bective
Ratoath v Summerhill

Cortown v Ratoath in the Final

ah glen, you seem to be writin off Navan against Bective? If they win that, which i think they will, (reminder - junior finalists last year), drumbaragh are back in contention with bective then having to beat ratoath in the last round to get through...

Having seen O Mahoneys a few times this year I'd be inclined to agree with glenny.

Crossed the border to have a look at me mates from Ballinacree last night.

They got well and truely beaten by one of the biggest oldest heavy team I have seen in a long time. Cortown have no business to go back intermediate if that is what the have. Their full back line all them boys seem well in there 30s and the centre back a decent player looks fairly old. Both midfielders both huge men also must be wrong side of 30. 2 very good full forwards will get them scores and the subs they brought on where equally big, when they come up against a fast team with a bit more power than Ballinacree they be in trouble.

Glenny if you think these boys are good enough to get the Junior A Final then Junior Football in Meath must be declining rapidly
