Wasa great game on sunday with ratoath finally showing the bottle to seal the deal.. Great game foe a neutral to watch as their were alot of young lads who will be pushing for meath u21s now .. The likes of brian mcmahon, bobby o brien, cian o brien, conor mcgill , gavin eiffe, matthew devine, gareth deery and maybe 2 of the meath minors to make the jump straight up conor carton and brian power . Both teams filled with youthful talent and looks exciting. Be interesting to see how both teams get on in intermediate. Well done ratoath! Brian mcmahon man of the match

B4j keep making your predictions because so far they have been so far of the mark im beginning to think your just a ratoath basher and actually know nothing about football because if not you would apprieciate the achievment of this very young team that still have alot of improvment in them and in my opinion wil thrive at higher level (as will Ashborne)

B4J I see you've learnt a new tune on the whinge pipes. You're blowing blue smoke out of that exhaust. I'd say you'll be trading in the old username for a new one soon. The only ones blowing anything out of proportion here are the likes of yourself and Summerhillof69. Dry your eyes and open a Tailteann Cup thread, your club have done very well to get there. That's where you should be channelling your energy.

Someone should congratulate Co Board (When Due) on running a well thought out Format.
It was a great Junior Final played by the 2 Best teams in the Championship (See previous comprehensive results for the year), Both deserve to go up as they will enhance Intermediate Championship, And this will also happen. Best of Luck to Ratoath representing Meath and look forward to meeting you in Senior competition. Results of underage development show up Ashbourne /Ratoath 1st teams used to meet in Junior. After Minor title wins Ashbourne now going all the way in Senior and Ratoath a few years behind.

Ratoath beat the Offaly champions today in the Leinster Junior Championship. The coming force in Meath football.

Ratoath won but only just, and against a team who only played their county final friday night. They will need to up their game big time. Sites like this are great for finding out county final results and that but for the life of me i cant find a site that posts results from provincial club championships in football and hurling, junior, intermediate and senior. Only other result ive heard is also the leinster junior where kildare's Clogherinkoe beat longfords Newtowncashel, and that was through word of mouth. Anyone that knows a site that which would have these results please let me know, thank you

Bit of a dog fight on a wet & narrow pitch which we found hard to handle. Ofally were big and strong, well able to play football. There were 3 or 4 changes from the County Final. Eamon Wallace made claim to a regular place with 3 of our 6 points as did Lenny Browne in the middle of the park where we did marginally better. With the Kilkenny champs out our next game is most likely against Ciaran Kilkenny's Castleknock in Ratoath. We'll have to be a hell of a lot better if we have any chance of winning that one.Casleknock won 5-15 to 0-8 yesterday & the County final 2-20 to 1-7.

Luckily for everyone else, that Dublin Junior Final was Kilkenny's swansong, he's gone to Australia now.

Yesterday was to be Ciaran Kilkennys last game i believe. Even without him they will have enough to win Leinster, very strong outfit, just cant see Ratoath being able for them

Ratoath will be missing Robbie Madden and the 2 McMahons for that game. Madden going to family wedding McMahons have holiday booked. Huge losses especially your midfielder and top scorer. Hopefully we'll make a game of it though

Maybe not in Leinster, but I cant remember the last time the Leinster junior champs beat any other teams in the All Ireland.

I'd like to think you're right and usually I'd agree, but Castleknock is a new club with the first few underage teams at adult level. All reports suggest they'd survive in the Dublin SFC.

I trust the team we have and the management have been brave over the past 2 games in lads they've subsituted and dropped. But we would never have beaten Ashbourne without Madden and especially B McMahon and Boyle. We will be missing 3 starting players and Boyle who was flown home from France for the final. If we win it'll be tight. We won't win if we play like we did yesterday. The games a home fixture and on a big hard pitch though. That'll suit both young teams. A cracker in store?

you must be no older than 14/15? Nobber and Tones won the All-Ireland in 2002 & 2003

A huge task in store for Ratoath against Castleknock. As rath_togh says they have a flood of brilliant underage teams hitting adult level now. They've ran up the league divisions in Dublin in the last 4-5 year. I'd fear for Ratoath if they are missing those 3 players. I work with a few dubs and expectation is Castleknock will be in corker park next February nevermind winning Leinster. Hopefully home advantage can swing it for Ratoath.

ive been told that Charlie Redmond is due to take over the vacant Ratoath post after Davey Byrne leaves for Dublin.... i think this would be a great aqusition for not just ratoath but meath football aswell. His knowlege and experience would be envaluable
