galway to win by 5, if dublin have a bad championship they we can talk about it hipster (Dublin) - Posts: 2509 - 21/04/2012 15:17:44 1157060 Link 0 |
well division 1b ( division 2 ) is a lot stronger then it was last year so it wouldnt be too bad , i think dublin need to win this more than galway , matches against the likes of wexford , limerick , offaly and antrim wouldnt be harmful to the young hurlers of galway imo , but for a team like the dubs who have much bigger ambitions it would be a disaster we need to be playing the likes of tipp , kk and cork in order to be prepared for the championship each year , think well win today which shows how far we have come considering we are without the big 5 .....keaney , hiney , rod , brady and mccrabbe stekhli (Dublin) - Posts: 3121 - 21/04/2012 15:42:59 1157073 Link 0 |
At least it would give Galway an excuse for when they flop in the championship. Gaillimh_Abu (Galway) - Posts: 1037 - 21/04/2012 15:50:09 1157077 Link 0 |

Disappointed to see Dublin demoted, but I think they will be a lot better in the Championship. Perhaps Snuff might advise if its all part of a cunning plan to lull the rest of us into a false sense of security. At the end of last season he was predicting eternal success and said it was possible that Cork might never again win a hurling game against the Dubs. Anyhow on a more serious note they do need to get a few of the missing brigade back pronto, I know its a cliche but hurling does need Dublin to be competitive. corkcelt (Cork) - Posts: 4388 - 21/04/2012 17:38:15 1157143 Link 0 |

Perhaps you're right stekhli, but take that loss on the chin now and enjoy second tier hurling next February. ahsure. (Galway) - Posts: 1729 - 21/04/2012 18:34:33 1157188 Link 0 |
