Hurling

As fermanagh man and total GAA man, i have to say yesterdays junior hurling final was an immense thriller and a great advert for all that is gud about hurling. The Two teams play very fast and attractive hurling and this game alone had me clued to the final whistle. Obviously i was there to watch Lisbellaw play and hoped they would win their first Ulster Title, and i wasnt going home disappointed.

However credit has to be given to Setanta for their part in the game. It was a real humdinger of a match and i dont think anyone from Setanta would begrudge lisbellaw the title as they were full value for it. I felt very sorry for your lads, especially after losing last years final. I supose as the saying goes, theres always next year, but that sounds very harsh, as your a great side and have some excellent players, especially young cullen, who was brilliant. Campbell tried to help him out, but i felt there wasn't enough support around him, maybe nerves caused this.

Thanks again lads for your part in the match, it was well worth the entrance fee!!
