little off topic this but i play for a junior club in cork and in an u16 match years ago our best player who incidentally is pushing for a place in the cork u21 team this year scored 5- 14 the total score for us was 5- 17, needless to say we severly depended on him then and also now but not as much, but it was an amazing feat regardless of what level you are playing

Not to take away from Joe Bergin but rather to highlight the brilliance of 1 particular hurler from the Glens:

Liam Watson, Loughgiel vs Na Piarsaigh, AI Club Semi-final, 0-16 (6 from play) in 80 minutes;

Liam Watson, Loughgiel vs Coolderry, AI Club Final 3-7 (2-2 from play) in 60 minutes, highest scorer ever in an AI Club Hurling Final.

Well done Liam, and hope to see that form continued in the saffron jersey.
