That depends on the players who are providing the pass and the movement of the forwards,there is a difference between long balls and long passes..

Guess what lads Meath played with 5 'proper' forwards tonight very refreshing and they played some excellent football at times, scoring 1-13 from play

I would not underestimate the work Gilsenan, Kenny, O'Connor, Tobin, Reilly and Bray did tonight. Meath worked hard to win the ball back and I wasn't surprised that Monaghan found it easier to create chances in the second half when the industrious Donnacha Tobin was replaced with Joe Sheridan. Hopefully Banty persists with the forward line-up that started tonight with either Tobin or O'Connor and Kenny starting as a half-forward.
