dunno what to make of armagh today.....on one hand we failed to score from play until the 52nd minute of the game...thats worrying..on the other hand.when we looked dead and buried we chipped in together and should have won the game in the end.was very impressed with most of our league debutants.especially mc parland..for a team to have up to 8 or 9 of our first team players unavailable to us that was a heartning performance and hopefully it will instill a belief in those new lads and a determination to fear no team in div 1......proud of this gutsy performance from us...!ard mhacha abu!

Just back from Armagh, and very pleased with the point,,
this morning i felt that armagh were doomed for relegation...... but the second half showed great determination... to play against such an experienced team with so many new commers can only be positive.... the tackling was great, early days but a positive result

was at the down game last night and though liam doyle was brill,,,

very strange game. Cork should have had it sown up by half time but bad shooting kept Armagh in the game. i suppose we should be happy to have come away with a point after playing almost 40 mins with 14 but considering how poor armagh were at the start i feel that 14 should have held on.

Both teams could count themselves lucky today. Cork would have been beaten if it wasn't thanks to an own goal by Kingham. Regardless of Kerrigan being sent off or not Cork should have still won, not a good enough excuse in my opinion. Armagh had a large contingent of first team players missing and some of the players today really did step their game up even though it took them a while to get into the game.

If this game was played at any other point during the league campaign I think Cork would have won easily yet perhaps Armagh might have had some of their missing players back. With that all said it was an encouraging performance from Armagh and will hopefully give them the belief that they can challenge in the division or at least go down fighting.

1105868 very strange game. Cork should have had it sown up by half time but bad shooting kept Armagh in the game. i suppose we should be happy to have come away with a point after playing almost 40 mins with 14 but considering how poor armagh were at the start i feel that 14 should have held on.

true enough cork should have finished them off in the first half but put alot of balls wide, but fair play to armagh for not giving up they fought hard and thoroughly deserved the draw i think in the end tired legs got the best of them or they could have come out on top but going on todays performance early on the draw was as good as a win...

I wouldn't fancy keeping some of that Cork team in grub; they are like basketballers, biggest team in the country?

a league is a league. if you finish top you should win. having a final to begin with was stupid. having semi's is just ridiculous

Good start to the league. 3 wins is probably the target to make sure of retaining league status.

Agreed, a very good win for Kerry. Not an easy feat to beat Dublin in Croker but to do it so convincingly will surely be a boost to the Kerry Team and Management. Good to see new players being introduced as well.

Ye started well as well. Looks like ye'll be the team to beat in Div 2 this year.

What happens in the event of an abandoned game? Dublin were winning at the time and had a mad sent off (harshly according to reports). Game called off at HT.

The game will be re fixed.

But does the red card count? If the game is a non event then is the red card recorded?

Just watched Armagh v Kerry.

Firstly, T O'Se. Straight infront of ref and linesman. AFTER winning the free. Really silly thing to do.

But for Armagh, what a start to the league. Full credit to them, great result tonight and moved the ball very well while kicking some sublime points.

Well done.
