MesAmis......
Definitely in the right mood to buy pints.... There were a few Tyrone people in it. I will return to that pub.

It's a nice spot alright man. I'll have to look out for some Tyrone heads in there next time the Red Hands are in town!

I have never begrudged Dublin their win and was one of the first to wish them well and praise they way they came back against Kerry last year. However for 65 mins of that game Kerry were the better side and played the better football, they collapsed mentally in the last few mins as they have done against Tyrone a few times. This Kerry side are a bit fragile when up against it but still play some of the best football in the country and I do believe they are a better side than Dublin; just an opinion, no agendas.

Well IMO you are talking about the 2 best teams in the country. A "lucky team" like Dublin does not go thorugh a whole year, 2011, only losing 2 competitive games, one a meaningless O'Byrne Cup first round replay against Westmeath and the other a league final which they should have won easily. Before Sat we had beaten Kerry in our last two competitive games and with the same squad so nothing to be concerned about for the dubs. Our backs played well on Sat and we were missing half our AI final midfield and 4 of our AI final forwards. We've started slowly, no doubt, but it's very early days. I expect a good performance in Castlebar albeit still with a very weakened side.

To be fair though Joker..lets be honest...last years winning Dublin team were one of the poorest to win the All Ireland in past memory

I have to say Dublin were worthy champions last year, there wasn't much between them and Kerry but at the end of the day they were the better team and won through and no one can take it away from them. Well done Dublin.

Molly, don't respond to the WUMs, you are All-Ireland Champions - end of story.

Dublin were a good team last year, they deserved their rub of the green in the final to get them over the line. Its bad form to try and say it was wholly down to luck. Sometimes you make your own luck in this game.

I can't see them becoming a great team by winning it again in the near future though. They work hard but don't seem to have that extra bit of class that Kerry have in abundance. Plus their discipline leaves a lot to be desired at the moment.
