1098388 Never mind lifetime bans; if a supporter attacks a player they should be criminally prosecuted. They have nothing to do with the game and as such it's nothing less than assault.

1098398 A lot of fuss over nothing

cobby, totally agree everyone who

From someone who was at the game
In the first half the invasion of Subs and Spectators on the field was just mind blowing,Whatever about subs running on to get involved with a brawl but Fans!!! Video evidence should be used to ban these "Fans" from the association..Then as we approach the final few minutes the Derrytresk "Fans" line the pitch for a pitch invasion..Ok they have just qualified for an All Ireland final..The PA announces not to enter the pitch..While about 25 stewards hide in the corner of the field??
The final whistle goes and i see 3 Dromid players attacked by "Fans"..Not good enough..When players batter each other it's one thing but spectators joining in is down right wrong and everyone found guilty should be banned from the GAA for life and they should be up in court for assault

TYRONELEGEND, to post something that idiotic you must be a child, were you at the game? If you were can you give a different story as to what happened because if you are defending whats being reported, then .......

A lot of fuss over nothing

Supporters, subs and mentors running onto the field and kicking opposition players on the ground.
I have a feeling they will not have their day in Croke Park.

just been listening to rte radio there, and by all accounts derrytresk are to blame, so much so that one fot heir fans even hit their own player and apologised. their fans were jerring every man woman and child that left the ground due to this. in recent times according to the irish news, there has been brawls and everything at club matches in tyrone, the word passion is being thrown around here. passion doesnt mean fighting, people need to catch a grip and quit defending their bad behaviour by describing it as being passionate. i feel the gaa will not react tot his situation, they have become very weak as of late, and this isnt a tyrone v kerry thing, its about the gaa and about the shocking behaviour of the derrytresk fans and subs.

This is happening in every COUNTY and should be stopped now , no county player should be abused because he is a county player end off , but the gaa are to blame with clubs because these poeple should not be let near gaa grounds ..

These so-called fans don't deserve a day out in Croke Park, or anywhere else, and I suspect they won't, intimidation like this will stamped out. I wonder wha the "real" fans think, no wonder pitch invasions are banned after this who can blame the GAA for banning the practise. Just a matter of time before some will get struck and won't get up from it.

LiosTuathail It also happens in your county and you cant deny that so get off your high horse but i do agree bigger sanctions are needed in every county and at club level someone is going to get killed .

just waiting now to hear a kerry supporter phoning into joe duffy saying they were kidnapped and dumped in a hedge in tyrone...our club was "subjected" to some of the derrytresk treatment in years gone by....they were certainly no shrinking violets, and i'm sure they still aren't, but this is way out of hand...sounds like some posters on here have an issue whith tyrone as evidenced by their comments, and "the master" fromMayo...so, there hasn't been any incidents in club matches in mayo?...i beg to differ!

Tyrone at it again.

There's a pattern at this stage - for all to see....indisputable. And to make things worse, Tyrone posters are on here defending this behavior!.....embarrassing....I'm scarlet for ye.

Dell you would need to check the Fermanagh forum, as this is where LiosTuathail claims to be from and is only a blow in to Kerry. Therefore I would presume that this imposter is originally from sham town.

Tis our own fault. We were asking for it.
Sure wasn't it Sean Kelly who brought it in

After listen to the 2FM radio programme this morning to the way Derrytresh behaved yesterday only confirms this must be a typical Derrytresh tactic and trend they follow to win their games. Surely every team they meet can't all be 'sore losers' as they all seem to be completely revolted by the disgusting abuse this team dishes out. Most teams are of the belief to win a game it is with pure football skill and talent and probably won't succumb to their level.
If they used the same abuse they gave the Monaghan team by all accounts - is it no wonder it is the topic this morning once again of their tactics and not actually winning the game. Check out their match statistics - they have had a man from the opposing side sent off in most games of their campaign!'Passion or no Passion' I was also shocked at the mentality of these people yesterday at the match. They seem to thrive on calling and people from the 26 counties 'free-staters' and in this day and age this behaviour and attitude is only but appalling. And in fairness most of us in the 26 counties would find this outdated abuse hard to stomach. I know I certainly did! Our game is the probably the only occasion when we can come together as a country and have the privilege to play our native game. This ploy is a pure insult to the generations before us who have fought and died in order for the 32 counties to play our game today. Perhaps with this attitude and mindset they should consider other foreign sports that we GAA people have found long and hard for not to demolished our game. Coming down here with this attitude spells trouble.
So yes well done Derrytresk ... a great presentation of our native Gaelic game. You certainly make your club, county and province proud to be Irish!

@dellboypolecat, yes it happens in every county, but on a minor scale, tryone club gaa is notrious for it, in fact heres the beuaty of it, i dont have to make reference to 4/5 years ago, lets just look at carrickmore v dromore from a couple of months ago, you can deny it but SOME of tyrones gaa clubs are notorious for their bad behaviour, i.e the fans, it has to be stopped!
