I think they will after all the Dubs are still celebrating.

I think this years Leinster championship is shaping up to be one of the most competitive in years. Dublin, the number 1 team in the country will fancy there chances and should have too much for the rest but you just never know. My own county, Kildare must win Leinster this year and they believe it can be done. At the moment they have a fully fit squad and all going well will be in the best shape they've been under McGeeney. And then there's Meath. I think they will be better than they have been in recent years and its going to take a huge effort for Kildare to get over them. Im not sure whether Meaths backs are up to required standard but I could well be wrong For me Dublin, Kildare and Meath are a long way ahead of the rest and the winner will undoubtedly come from one of these 3. Personally I'd love to see Kildare win a Leinster title and I have a sneaky feeling this could be our year :)

The Dubs for leinster after a 1 point win again against the lilywhites...

I think by this stage they need a Leinster to at least have something in the cupboard so to speak. I'm not sure if they are quite there as far as the all Ireland goes at this current time, so I would think after 4 years McGeeney needs something in the way of a return. They definately deserve it after the performances of the last 3 years.

1092209 The Dubs for leinster after a 1 point win again against the lilywhites...

I honestly think if its a dublin v kildare final dublin will be razor sharp and cant see it been a 1 point win this season, one of dublins aim this year is to be finishing teams off and not giving them chance to come at them we seen it too many times last year but in saying that there was alot of monkeys of the back knowing we could do it and still have the nerve to go on and win, this year is get the points get ahead and stay ahead........
COME ON THE DUBS.......

Think you are looking at Dublin and Kildare but we need to see the League form.

The there is Meath, Wexford, Louth and Carlow in that order, but think they will need good league runs.

League is important :). Dublin have used it well in the last two years and winning breeds confidence and form, but pre-league the above stands.

Key question as a Dub is how the lads will handle all the celebrations and trips around the county with Sam. Young team so hopefully the goal of adding a few more All-Irelands will drive them on.

Even before the Leinster final or its outcome, I think a Meath v Kildare tie has the potential to be one of the matches of the year

Kildare have an excellent chance in Leinster, Dublin will be building momentum as the summer progresses and wont peak until August/September, they've learned how to do this, Kildare will have to peak in July if they want to take the Delaney cup over the border (welcome to it) but it will be very hard for them to take that form into September. Their best bet is going through to back door but their starving fans lust for Leinster, as I said, they can have it!

Good point real dub , the pressure is all on Kildare for Leinster, if we get beat its not the end of the world but if Kildare get bet it will be very hard for them to come back from that. Are aim no matter what is Sam I think Kildare just want a Leinster at this stage.

Yeah but there's probably a big difference between the supporters and the panel in that regard. That was always Kildare's outlook prior to McGeeney coming in which is why we never really showed up in the qualifiers when we lost in Leinster. Under Geezer we've never lost a qualifier. The fans might be satisfied with a Leinster but I've no doubt the players and management believe they can win the whole thing. You probably think that unrealistic but try saying that to them.

Decent team who mcgeeney is getting the most out of. Wont win an all ireland wont be far off leinster but lacking john doyles...need about 3 more!

Yeh I think Geezer probably has their heads right, but believe me, large support filters its hopes on to the pitch, we have plenty of experience in that department, I think it will be a great game with Kildare having more to lose!

Well clondalkin, if Kildare beat Offaly tomorrow you'll have your first chance of 2012 to get your spoke in (or out) as we will play them in Newbridge on the 22nd, I hear we hammered UCD tonight. Don't leave your hand out to be slapped now, or have you already? : )

Good to watch at times but missing the steel needed to kill teams off and win the big games. Should have beaten Donegal last year but didn't and had the Dubs at their mercy a few times but didn't have the nerve or belief. Would like to see them win Leinster or Sam for the efforts McGeeney puts in. However I heard some of their players said some nasty stuff when they played Antrim, 'British' this and that and commenting on Elizabeth II and so on.

Thats a fair ol' aligation, hard to believe a team run by McGeeney would have that mentality, especially with him coming from that part of the island himself, but we'll have to take your word for that.

The bitterness of the Laois posters here is ridiculous! Luckily they're so far behind we can't quite make out what they're saying

Waaaay too early to say how Kildare's year will go. If our first choice panel stats fit it could be abig year but if this cruciate curse persists we don't have the player numbers to cope.

Snuf, you drone on about Dublin being "reduced to 14" men. Do you realise that there is a direct causal link between punching & clothes lining and being sent off? And will we talk about McEneaney's shocker in 09 or that joke of a free last year?

Really? I'd be very suprised at that especially when they've an Armagh manager.

I'd say Ulsterman is making that up.

Kildare and Dublin both hammered their quarter final opponents and now look set for a great match in the semi's. Some bragging rights at stage, this should be interesting!
