Kildare will win Leinster

They are also right up thre with Galway in my eyes to win the All Ireland. They have a great northern manager, great players. Last year was a learning experience for them.I firmly believe that if they got by Donegal that day in the quarters, if they beat Dublin in the semi's and then Kerry in the final, they would of won the All Ireland. They will go far this year. Dublin wont do the back to back. It will be Kildare's year. They deserve it especially their supporters.

I think Galway will have too much for them. But they will be close.

Its all set up perfectly for the final that all the country is hoping for. A repeat of 98 classic.

Hardly a crazy suggestion, is it?

3/1 to win Leinster behind Dublin; 12/1 to win the AI behind Dublin, Cork & Kerry.

If you think that's too short I suggest you open a betfair account.

KILDARE really look geared towards doing well in this years championship , they've been unlucky the last couple of years between square balls and soft frees , they should have a far stronger squad this year also with the return of mikey conway , peter kelly , ken donnelly , hugh lynch and hopefully dermot earley .The last couple of years has been a great learning curve for mcgeeney and the lillies and i feel in 2012 they will make it count by obtaining silverware in the championship

Ah there's only one problem, they're on our side of the draw, sorry lads.

No forwards = No silverware

My bet is that for the third successive year meeting a Dublin team reduced to 14 men for half of a game, McGeeney will make some more woeful decisions on the sideline and end up wagging his mop up hair in disbelief at his county losing by one point again!....even though everyone else in the country will be crystal clear on where the game was lost for Kildare!

As a kildare mate of mine himself often proclaims (not my words):....."Kildare.....the mayo of Leinster!"

Cant see anyone stopping Kildare in Leinster. Dublin will fancy their chances but i cant see them winning another Leinster.

Much as I hate to agree with a jackeen, snuf has 100% hit the nail on the head.
A county with no bottle will win nothing. Same ol story from Kildare against Laois in 03, Dublin in 10 & 11, Donegal in 11.....ad nauseum...

On top of that, I expect the KCB to apply to the IMF for a bailout in the order of billions.
I wouldnt be surprised if the curragh itself has to be sold off to keep these lads in wooly togs n calpol.

The cossetting and waste poured onto this panel is staggering and prepostrous, showing that not only does your average kildareman lack in bottle, he also lacks in fiscal cop on.

Yes of course they are all very good players but they won't win you an All-Ireland, especially when Doyle is playing at midfield. It's all well and good putting up big scores against the weaker teams but they've failed consistently in the big games versus Down/Dublin/Donegal, regardless of refereeing decisions.
