With all due respect you are far from right. What ever about Mayo, Roscommon are a spent force. No way will they do anything this year. I am beig serious about Galway. They will breeze through Connacht and will be a serious outfit. They always had the players, all they needed was a good home grown manager which they have.

Yeah, we'll see.

If Galway get back on track then as a Tyrone supporter division two looks like being a very competitive league.

Galways targets for the year are

1 Give there younger players some experience (Will happen)
2 Win Connaught (Average chance)
3 Win a single game after (Unlikely)

The messiah Alan Mullholland always needs two years. below is his record

Minor manager 2006 beaten by Roscommon
Minor manager 2007 All Ireland winner

Under 21 2010 beaten by Sligo
under 21 2011 All Ireland winner

So the following two years

Senior 2012 beaten by Roscommon
Senior 2013 All Ireland winner

Galway supporters are very confident they will win it this year though.

Paddyogall is a Mayo WUM trying to hype Galway's chances which is ironic seeing that Mayo supporters are the ones who are always blowing about winning SAM each year yet Galway teams are the only county in Connacht who regularly bring silverware across the Shannon each year including the minor / U21 / Clarinbridge senior hurlers and U21 footballers in 2011! Galway supporters know the football team is in transition in a major way and winning Connacht would probably be the height of their expectations but even that is a big if. Winning some games inside / outside Connacht and blooding some new young skillful talent would be a big step in the right direction.

I dont know why I am getting attacks from supposed Galway people on here. I am just saying what Galway GAA people have been telling me. They are absolutely 100% of winning Connacht and are very Confident of getting to the All Ireland final. They were very arrogant about it so they must know a secrets from the camp.

Throw out a few examples there or stop talking nonsense. Where have you seen Mayo fans saying we're going to win Sam??

Massive rebuilding job needed in Galway, the teams who have beaten us in the last few years shows where we are. The Mayo performance last summer was a major low. An average Mayo side short on confidence won pulling up and should have won by 15+. A lot to be asking of young players to pick Galway up from the floor.

Far too many passengers on the Galway panel. No Galway player would get in the starting teams of the big 3 or 4 sides.

First job for Galway is to blood some new players.

My aims for this year would be:
Blood new players, especially Flynn and O'Curraoin in the big problem area at midfield.
Get a bit of pace into the team.
Stay in Division 2, top half would be good. Can't see promotion this year.
Get to the Connacht Final (Roscommon at Hyde Park would be favourites at present).
If we get to Conancht final and win it, it'd be great but I'd be as happy to win a qualifier game against a semi-decent side.
Make Quarter Finals would be a very good year.

Its going to take a number of years to get Galway consistently back among the top 5-6 teams.

Ammmm I know Galway havent the most loyal or knowledgeable of fans but I am fairly perplexed to why he/she is mentioning a Roscommon Galway Connacht final in Hyde park.

Obviously I mean Roscommon would be favourites to reach the Connacht final on the Galway side of the draw.

There were enough Mayo ones on here in previous years blowing about well they were going to do. The likes of yourself and Paddyogall should concentrate on Mayo. Still, it makes a change for a Mayoman to be going over the top about someone other than Mayo.

Will Joyce be back to play again? That man is up there with Brian Dooher, he is one of these age defying players or is he?

We won pulling up, but Mayo are not an Average side. True enough at the beginning of the year we were worse than average but I think know we have a fairly good team building and a manager who is taking us in the right direction.

Galway have been pretty awful in recent years but I hope yer new man brings ye on and I have no doubt Galway will be back. Connacht football needs Mayo and Galway at the top of their games.
