NUI Maynooth made it to the Sigerson weekend by beating UCD last night, they had it won easy but nearly blew it at the end. They play some seriously good football and take some good goals, none better than Kildare's Tommy Moolick's screamer - see it and a match report here:

Here's the UCC goals that beat IT Sligo, terrible goals but they all count. Still, have to wonder how Sligo didn't win - link

And the Meath and Dublin players had the honour of wearing the Kildare jersey. A highlight of their careers.

That DCU side is an intercounty side. Some of the boys they have been taking off the bench are top quality footballers. How many of them are on scholarships?

Yeah all the Dublin lads played well. What do you think of cooper hill? Is he good enough?

he looks good enough to get a run anyway but if half back his best position it seems hard spot to get nowadays with mccarthy brennan and nolan looking the best line still, dean rock seems to have improved alot over the last couple of months from play he needed to in order to get a chance with dublin again and seems he should be given a go in fairness to him, thaught o gara was unlucky not to get that goal that was given a square ball but paul flynn had a stormer kicked some great points and goal was great flick
