Fair enough gigoer, but to fully quote you when I complained about soccer bigotry you said "that bug is up your butt to stay".I just got the impression that you felt i should just shut up and accept it,that soccer bigotry was something to be ignored, while Gaa bigotry (from Hill16101man) is tackled and criticised at every opportunity. Also when i said row,I didnt mean it in a bad way.I agree "healthy debate" would be a better way of putting it.
"keeper7 in additon to what I already said about tax rebates I could reply to you with facts about salary caps and limits on foreign players in England and France and the fact that centrally contracts Irish international players are paid directly by Ireland and not by their provinces but since I assume you would coninue to say I'm deluded I'm not going to bother. If it makes you happy to believe that Irish provinces are achieving their results against the financial odds go on ahead."
Will you quit about tax rebates! Do you really think there's more money in Irish rugby than in France or England??? Look at the populations of those 2 countries for a start!!! I just think the IRFU & the Irish provinces have done remarkably well in maximising results & keeping Irish players playing in Ireland. Jeez!
1081907 hill16no1man .i was actualy offered trials in england for soccer il have you know but choose to stay and play for the north dublin team in the easter tournament
I'd say the only trials you were offered in England were in front of a judge. You're not a hero if you turned down riches. You're a fool. And the more money players get the more tax is generated for the government. They are rubbing their hands together everytime Man City offer players £200k a week, It's easy money for them. Thank god you're not running the country or actually with the state it's in, maybe you are.
It's not all glam lads, look at poor Gary Speed who we thought had it all
great joke by the way what are you 12 years old.why because i rather play a sport i like gaa and not play a sport just for money ,money isnt everything kid when you grow up and stop listening and watching wayne rooney with his wag spending fortunes clothes you might realise that.look i couldnt care less about the governments and your ridiculous remarks, the fact is soccer is abuisness and without the big wages do you honestlythink any of them guys would tog out for man city because they enjoy playing for a club thousands of miles from there home towns? some of us have a bit of pride and enjoy things not because money is being thrown at us to do it.as for gary speed i dont want to slag somebody who died because nobody knows the ins and outs but i dont think somebody who takes their own life should be made a hero of the way you are portraying him if anything it goes to show you my point that money isnt everything in life it dint make him happy
gigoer to start i never said we invented hurling for that reason well have i? i simply already stated that it was invented to keep irish traditions going during a period of british rule,to allow irish men and women to come together and speak irish which was not allowed at the time by the brits.secondly im not prejudice to other sports at all as i said growing up i played all sports soccer golf basketball horse riding even i dont have an oppositon to any other sports other then gaa.yes i dont like having our media still run by english companys because it brainwashes people in this country into believing rubbish that they print.as for the rugby world cup case im not against rugby at all just speaking from a gaa point of view it would be sporting suciide to let the rugby world cup take place in our gaa grounds during the championship season as the media would give 95 percent coverage to them and the gaa would suffer massively.you seem to have a problem with me airing my views but when others do it that you agree with thats ok for you.
