in the 1980's southern schools complained about the age difference, therefore ulster council put forward the ranafast winners (U-16) in 1986 - the rest is history, st. coleman's hammered st. david's in the final

age isn't an issue any more

Predict a Connacht champion this year. St Jarlaths still very strong after last year with lots of experience. Ros CBS look very good too after All Ireland B success last year too and Colmans Claremorris are a good championship side.
