Yes but anyone can get around a player and make chances not much good if they dont take them!

Yes but his shots were saved by the kerry goalie! Nothing at all to do with marc o se who got destroyed! Beaten to every single ball by andy and unable to stop andy getting his shot/pass away even once! Destroyed!

He put one of them wide after Marc O Se forced him out and try to clame he was fouled, for his other chances he was put under pressure again and was put off

Ha! Hit the post with one and the goalie saved the other two. One-one-one with the goalie three times, great full back play!

1046362 I see they put in two 'token' tyronies!!

Well considering either one of them would walk into any team in the country including Dublin and Kerry I don't see why not, and in McMahon's case in any line of any team. I do believe he actually participated as goalkeeper on occasion, but Cluxton is probably slightly better than Joe in this position

Cork deserve at least one being league champions, Donnacha o' Connor was THE in form forward untill the unlikely loss to Mayo, scoring 1-7 against Down. Also he was robbed of an allstar last year by Gooch who did nothing last year.

Dont know what world youre living on omaghredhand but Joe in my opinion is well past it & was shown up in the first half of the roscommon match by donie shine which should have been a warning for the dublin match but tyrone didnt heed the warning & he was all over the place against dublin! he might aswell have been staring into a field of thistles! great player over the years but only in the team still on his past reputation and also that tyrone havent got anyone good enough to replace him

last year was invite only, this year the allstars are combined with the gpa. So not sure but would imagine its invite onlyagain. last year only players that were nominated got invites with their partners plus management and corporate. Vodafone sponsored the event and they ran acompetition which i won two tickets which included over night stay in the citywest. we were in studio for live show and free drink all night unbelievable. was talking to michael darragh and bernard best night ,though this year will be something special. des cahill will be in his element.

Well Little Pea if you believe that someone at 28 yrs of age is past it I don't know. With regards to the first half against Roscommon, given that the whole Roscommon half forward line were afforded the freedom of Croke Park it was little wonder Shine got the better of him in the first half. Can't recall him doing much in the second half though when the rest of the defence started doing their job. Secondly against Dublin he was far from all over the place. The problem against Dublin stemmed from a very poor half back line that were only too glad to attack but not so keen in the defending part of their job. Maybe you can use your encyclopeadic knowledge of the game to explain to me, how you would mark a top class forward who has 30 yards of space to play in and is getting accurate ball played into that space. Again, Dermot Connolly, who in my view is an above average footabller but no more was made look like the next Canavan or Gooch aginst Tyrone as he hadn't a defender within an arse's gowl of him.

And how come you don't think Cavanagh is past it at 28?

i never said anything about age redhand! i said joe mcmahon is past it which in my opinion he is! you dont have to be old to be past it! sean cavanagh is one of the finest footballers in the country thats why i didnt say hes past it! youre entitled to your opinion as am i & it was clear for neutrals to see that joe struggled this year whether tyrone supporters want to admit it or not doesnt bother me!

Interesting line of thought about being past it. Strange but interesting. Sean Cavanagh has been one of the finest footballers over the past few years, but Joe McMahon is a better FOOTBALLER. Joe McMahon is not a natural full back and has been forced into that position by Tyrone's lack of a natural full back when his brother was injured. Funnily enough, the club now employ him in that role as well. However other than a decent game against Roscommon, Cavanagh has been distinctly average for Tyrone in my view over the last year and a half. McMahon however has been excellent. I've missed very view Tyrone games this past number of years so I would suggest that I and the majority of Tyrone supporters would have a more rounded opinion of how these men are playing than someone who watched McMahon/Cavanagh maybe twice this year. Tyrone would have beaten Donegal only for McMahon's "injury" as Murohy hadn't touched leather up until he went of and all of a sudden set up two goals when Joey was off and that was probably his finest performance this year. No, maybe not his performance against Kildare in Dungannon will live long in the memory when it took Kildare 32 minutes into the second half to get their first score of the half
