I dont think Andy Moran is the Best full foward in Ireland should have gone to Murphy or Connolly.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Murphy instead of Moran? Really? What games are you basing that on? And I think Moran was more consistent than Connolly over the year.

The only reason your saying that is because he from Mayo same as the Dubs are saying Rory O'Carroll should have won one just because he's from Dublin. Had he played just as good for another county you wouldn't be saying hes the best Full Foward in Ireland!

Just give Kerry the 15 awards every year and be done with it. If yapping, moaning, whinging and crybabying were All Stars Kerry would wrap them up annually. They moan when they win, lose or draw. They did it in the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's when teams beat them; shut up Kerry the GAA is not about just you. Donegal had a great year and with a bit more belief should have beat Dublin.

Theres no doubt that Bernard Brogan is an outstanding player.. but I have to agree with moomoo that maybe if he wasnt so loved by the media the all stars would have gone to someone like our own Michael Murphy who had agood year

haha micheal murphy wasnt in the opposing temas half long enough to be even called a forward this year, you honestly believe he made more of an impact then bernard just home from watching him again today 5 points scored and 2 assists for the two goals thats why he is named in the team has been one of the main providers for scores this year

Your fairly good at the old yapping, moaning, whinging etc yourself now horse. We get it, you don't like Kerry I'm sure they are worried.

Well I'm sorry moomoo but I do believe Andy Moran has been the best full-forward In Ireland this year. Can you put forward a better alternative? I don't think you can. Andy was more consistent than say Connolly and please don't mention Murphy. No offence to Donegal fans but none of their forwards were anywhere near an All-Star this season.

Indeed Richieq I didn't get this chip overnight; it took decades of Southern revisionism, partitionism, headburying and Unionist D4 myopia to carefully nurture and develop.

Hope the plan next year is that murphy is left up forward to shut all yous up and prove the pure talent the lad has.. and deserves credit for

Why should Murphy not get a mention? Kieran Donaghy, Declan O'Sullivan when he playes there, Donncha O'Connor, Donie Shine are just a few. As i said the only reason you think he's the best Full Forward id because hes from Mayo

An other example of this. The only reason you think Brenard Brogan is better then Murphy is because hes from Dublin if it was the other way round and Murphy played with Dublin you'd be on hear saying how great he would be.

I agree that Andy Moran deserved his award, it wasn't a vintage year for full forwards but he certainly stood out and is deserving. Michael Murphy didn't hit his usual heights this year and to be honest I wonder if Diarmuid Connolly deserved a nomination, its very simple to kick loads of points when a Tyrone defence gives you the freedom of Croke Park, nothing against the lad but he really didn't impress me. As I say not a vintage year for the "14's" but well done to Andy.

Ok so when the gooch ran amok against Mayo it was class but when connolly runs amok the other team are no good and he got to much space. Yet we bet tyrone by 7 kerry bet Mayo by 9. Something doesn't add up

Not only the Hill AthClaith but the Rovers fans were also doing their bit for partitionism against Derry City last week too. "What's it like to have a Queen" was getting belted out. Take it down from the mast Dubs!

Michael Murphy? Donegal's forwards didn't make any real impact this year, that's why he shouldn't get a mention.

Kieran Donaghy? No way, he only played well for half an hour against Mayo IMO.

Declan O'Sullivan? Well he didn't play there that much this year I don't think, did he?

Donnocha O'Connor? Are you for real? What did he do this year??? Was nowhere against Mayo when their Champions crown came under threat.

Donie Shine? Was outshone on the frees by young Cillian O'Connor in the Connacht Final. Free's are supposed to be his speciality and he buckled under the pressure that day. Otherwise he made little impact this season.

I must stress that I don't believe Andy Moran is the best Full-Forward in this country period. However was was the best of them this season, and that's what the All-Stars are based on, THIS SEASON!

Anyone would get the scores Connolly got that day the amount of space he got off the Tyrone backs

Hang on now comparing the Gooch and Connolly is not a fair comparison, Gooch has been consistantly brilliant for years, Connolly has yet to be consistant for one year. As I say I not knocking the chap and he may yet develop into a top class forward but this year he gave only one good display which was greatly aided by the poorness of the opposing defence, his subsequent performances against Donegal and Kerry back this up, sorry I just don't think he was worthy of consideration based on his overall year.

I'm not comparing connolly with gooch, gooch is the greatest of all time. I to don't think connolly deserves an all star , all I'm saying is its wrong for people to dismiss connollys performance against tyrone, any man who scores 7 points from play in a big championship game deserves huge credit. If he's so poor like people say how the hell did he score 7 points? Space or no space.
