Willie I can only assume thats Alan Brogan not Bernard? Liamwalkinstown (Dublin) - Posts: 8166 - 30/07/2008 16:12:37 61279 Link 0 |
Sorry Willie - was with you there from 1-8 but one Dublin forward - and its not even Alan Brogan!!!!!! Flanagan (who missed loads of games) ahead of Whelan? You gotta be kidding mate. Dublin have scored 4-58 and you give us one forward. No Jayo either. Sorry way off the mark. JayoCluxton (Dublin) - Posts: 2688 - 30/07/2008 16:15:48 61284 Link 0 |
Also Willie, sorry mate but if u were picking a completely nom partial leinster team, and forwards, and it didnnt matter a damn who was on it, how many from what county, none from another etc, I am sorry man but Jayo , Alan and Bernard would walk onto it and you know that man. Keaney wouldnt be far off either. Stephen Bray and John Doyle would also be serious possibbilitys along with Munnelly. Liamwalkinstown (Dublin) - Posts: 8166 - 30/07/2008 16:21:21 61291 Link 0 |
Willie are you basing this on championship only or League. As class a footballer as Martin Flanagan is this years championship did not give him the opportunity to demonstrate this. Next year... maroongael77 (Westmeath) - Posts: 61 - 30/07/2008 16:28:58 61302 Link 0 |
As much as it pains me to say it, I would not put Kavanagh in. 5 points in 2 games is a poor return by his standards. Shinners (Longford) - Posts: 496 - 30/07/2008 16:39:52 61318 Link 0 |
you better just list the who dublin team mate trust me its just easier, the real gaa people know though!! ball-boy (Mayo) - Posts: 4211 - 30/07/2008 16:42:53 61321 Link 0 |

Meath conceded 4-12 to Limerick and 2-14 to Wexford and you have the Meath full back in your team??? Dubinmeath (Dublin) - Posts: 1123 - 30/07/2008 16:47:52 61334 Link 0 |
Liam you must not have seen too many games this year if you choose Bray and Munnelly. Both were terrible. Jayo and Bernard Brogan "would walk onto it", biased Dublin rubbish. Triple H (Meath) - Posts: 551 - 30/07/2008 16:48:59 61336 Link 0 |
neither bernard or jayo would make the mayo panel so i suppose they definately would make the leinster team so ball-boy (Mayo) - Posts: 4211 - 30/07/2008 16:55:00 61348 Link 0 |

So Dublin have the best defensive record in the Leinster championships and the best scoring rate and yet people are giving us limited players....ridiculous Dubsforsam1 (Dublin) - Posts: 164 - 30/07/2008 22:27:32 61544 Link 0 |
Wat a bad team willie, Darren Fay was very poor this year, Brian Kavanagh had his worst year in the championship for Longford since hes started playing and Donie Kingston didn't even play in the Leinster championship for Laois!! I presume its Alan Brogan you mean and not Bernard. ChungLad (Longford) - Posts: 351 - 30/07/2008 22:28:02 61545 Link 0 |
Liam/Jayo, that is suppose to be Alan Brogan not Bernard, also I should have included Niall McNamee. But I cant see why people are complaning, it looks a good team to me. Willie Nelson (None) - Posts: 972 - 31/07/2008 08:38:56 61653 Link 0 |
Spudenator, like the look of your team but would swap two of your own players, that being P.McMahon for Rooney. bagoballs (Westmeath) - Posts: 29 - 31/07/2008 09:55:15 61707 Link 0 |
Willie - how did Darren Fay make the team? The man he was marking against Limerick scored 3-7 !!!! Didn't see any of that game but remember seeing the Independent giving him a rating ot 2 out of 10 - you honestly think he was the best full back in Leinster this year? jason (Mayo) - Posts: 139 - 31/07/2008 10:05:27 61720 Link 0 |
