1040209 sorry i said more than likely wont but with each one of you posts, i think i'm going more and more towards them. if i end up voting sf in the future ballb@g its your fault

as i have said before whatver happens in british elections is about as relevant to ireland as what happens in elections in the Congo- vote whoever you want to vote for, if everyone voted or noone voted in the makeshift country that is northern ireland it wouldnt matter anyways, so if i have encouraged you to exercise your democratic right as a british citizen to vote in british elections then i take alot of pride in doing that :)

I have changed my views on Marty McGuiness a lot in the last few days. I may consider actually voting for him. At this point I will probaly give him even a number 2 or 3. Maybe a number 1. I have certainly warmed to the idea of Marty asking permission off Enda every time he wants to go back to Northern ireland.

This reminds me of the scurrilous attacks that were made against Mary McAleese in 1997. FG launched a vicious campaign claiming she was in the IRA etc. Now others followed suit including our brave RTE trying to angle in that direction. FG need not be pointing fingers at anybody in view of their record from the 70's when the greatest mass muder in the history of the state was covered up by the FG/Labour coalition. They are in power again and have a lot of the amswers in their offices. So until then shut up boys.

Thank you. It certainly takes a bit of skill to do it. Skill that I picked up on the mean streets of east Belfast.

RealKerry, I will be voting independent but stop comparing this with things that are incomparable. I have no agenda maybe the other Mayo boys are towing a party line but I am not. Some of the lads on here keep bringing up American foreign policy when debating this issue, can we stick to the issues that are relevent to Martin McGuinness and his party.

I am afraid they are comparable. Same party(ies) who tried to blacken a presidential canditate's character in 1997 are listened to again. Also if you cover up a serious crime you are as guilty as the perpetnrators. jonny my main problem is listening the high moral ground preaching by these parties etc. and posters who support them, yet ignoring their own deeds. By the way I will be voting for Mary Davis as it stands.

Attacking a former chief of the IRA which is a fact and an untrue allegation against Mary McAleese, can you see how i may be confused?

Celebrity president has been a good show so far, following on from celebrity ICA bootcamp, celebrity bainisteoir, celebrity big brother, celebrity micheal healy ray etc. It's been fantastic to watch a celebrity like Dana going for two celebrity titles at the one time (bainisteoir & president). A bit like winning two All-Irelands in different codes in the one year. A kind of Teddy McCarthy job, for 'celebrities'.

Just listened to a very good debate between Danny Morrison and Kevin Myers on 'the last word' about Martin McGuinness. Morrison is one very articulate and intelligent man, he put Myers firmly in his place with Myers shouting at Danny to "shut up", completely losing his head. One thing is becoming clear, SF look more than up for meeting this challenge head on. There is now a growing sense of genuine confidence among republicans.

LIATHROID BOY you must have been very busy with the harvest somewhere, cos you cant get away from clutching at straws. You and your kind have been sorted before and probably at times paid the ultimate price , but democracy will prevail,Mc Guinness will win, then you can find a clergyman somewhere to vent your frustrated spleen.!!
