1044582 bannerman, my post was genuine enough, but i did throw the "rugger" bit in just to see if you would take the bait, and low and behold you did. settle down man, its a term used to describe rugby, and as far as im aware, not derogatory. i believe that you are a sincere rugby fan, and fair play to you for that, but once again, settle down

But ive been playing rugby 17 years in which time ive lived in dublin and tipperary and went and have played in that time all over ireland as well as many games abroad and have rarely heard it being used. It is not derogatory but its use on this site by some posters makes it derogatory.

Round 3 of the league kicks off friday night when 'Friday Night Lights' comes to Musgrave Park with the clash of Dolphin and Cork Constitution in Division 1A. Dolphin will include Munster and Ireland scrum half Tomas O'Leary in their side as he continues on the road to recovery.

There is a pre-match meal in the Dolphin clubhouse - tickets (subject to availability) can be purchased at a designated gate between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on matchday (cost of tickets €20 to include entry into match)

In keeping with Dolphin's youth policy, all Under-18s will be admitted free to this fixture. Adult entry to match €10.

The half-time charity kicking competition will feature local celebrities:

Doug Howlett (Munster and New Zealand)
Pat O'Connell (Queen's Cork ambassador)
Breffny Morgan (TV3's The Apprentice)
Rena Buckley (Cork Ladies Gaelic football star)
Jimmy Kerrigan (Former All-Star footballer)

There will also be post-match entertainment/fun in the clubhouse with complimentary finger food
Kick-off is at 7.30pm.

No games scheduled for this weekend in Division 1A or 1B. Game of the weekend is in division 2B when the first ever tipperary derby takes place in Cashel between the home side who currently top the table after a very impressive start to their senior career and Nenagh Ormond who are in 5th but could be higher after silly mistakes in a few games lost us some valuable points
