Thats right thistle,

Instead of sitting letting the boholauns grow up on their land the mullahs are too lazy to get out and farm it!!

I have heard people shout "come on the tax payers" at Dublin games.

That's one of my favourites.

Culchies don't pay tax.

Took the words out of my mouth. They just have to except the fact that they are the second class citizens of this country.

At least we can spell accept

I wouldnt have a problem with it but theres nothing wrong with the way it is now. It could be the next step, after stopping people coming onto the pitch. After that youll have crowd segregation, and finally, will we see (in time) both teams walking out onto the pitch before a game in an orderly fashion, holding childrens hands?

yeah it worked in one game. But if that had of been the first round of the championship and one of the teams got to the final, what would the chances be that he same 15 started in each game? Changes in team line ups and positional changes would mean having to change the kit for each game.

Well the way it is going to work (and it looks like the camog's are driving this) is you submit a panel 1 to 20 or 1 to 30 - each player has a number and their name and thats it. Doesn't matter if you have Eibhlin Number 28 starting in midfield and Siobhan Number 7 sitting on the bench or at home with her partner. Now before we all go dashing to have names added to our club shirts - its only for Inter-county teams and lets face if a County Team can't afford a spare shirt then who the hell can. This was originally a GAA proposal primarily for Camogie/Hurling because with helmets kids/juveniles don't get to see or identify their hero's hidden behind helmets. The idea was too to put the name on the helmet as well or alternatively the Skort. I think its great and personalises the games. The only issue might be where someone decides to have the names in irish so Mag's Smith might be Maighread Nic an Ghobhann not spelt correctly but you get the idea - cost more to print the name than to buy the shirt.

The reason I wouldn't be on favour of the names on jerseys is that managing the kit for clubs is going to be a nightmare. As said earlier making positional switches means that you would have to have multiple names and number combinations . I can't see that the increased cost would bring any real benefit apart from increasing the Jersey sales .

No need for names on Jerseys, another expense that we just don't need. While Hogoboss is very disengeneous to most Dublin fans, there will be an amount of Fans there won't know who is playing for either side next sunday. There will be people there on sunday next who won't have been at a Dublin game for years but for some reason will get a ticket ahead of a genuine supporter. Seen it before at an All Ireland final where one gent read his paper all thru the game while a neighbour of mine had to stay at home as he couldn't get a ticket even though he travelled all over Ireland for League and Champo games. Never mind names on Jerseys, lets look a fairer system of ticket allocation for fans who go to games regularily.

No because the players don't necessarily have the same number every game. To put players names on the logical thing to do would be to allocate each player a number and then we would have number 2 doing midfield, 12 in full back and 33 at wing back etc etc...

Plus it would make them look like a bunch of soccer eejits.

Also I think there is too much crap destroying beauitful jerseys as it is!!

Not even the great bhoys in green the Republic soccer team have names on the back of their shirts (more likely to do with penny pinching FAI) so if Robbie and Duffers don't need it then Skinner and Paddy dont need it in Derry
