I'll be in the premier section!!

Keep yer eyes peeled on Jones Rd for the little Corca Dhuibhne mĂșinteoir in the Kerry jersey and the tall, balding and handsome gentleman in the Dublin jersey!!

We will be the ones in the premier box throwing our crab claws and prawn sandwiches down on top of the ordinary people below!!!

Regards,

3rd year in a row same teams doesn't really appeal to the neutral supporter...

Just after getting a hill 6 ticket for sunday. delighted. hope the minors win one for us and the senior game is a cracker. itll be my second AI final after the 05 loss, and 1st as a neutral. will hopefully be great game of skill and toughness, though i dont really want either team to win LOL. as long as great hurling is show-cased, i dont care..bring on 3.30pm

Very possible it won't sell out, loads of tickets to be picked up. I've already sorted out 5 friends and family without trying too hard for a ticket. Bring demand in tipp, but we'll bring 40,000 - 45,000 at the very most. Kilkenny will bring about 30,000 fans. Dependent on Dublin, Galway and neutral fans to fill the place.

It's a shame but there's no money in the country at the minute. So any neutrals interested in going, you'll find it easy
to get a ticket.

It looks as if tickets for the hurling final are being returned, purely down to the crazy cost.

the price of the tickets are a joke .
i managed to get my hands on one for the hurling final and it was 80 euro
thats a joke there should be something put in place so these prices do not have to be paid by loyal fans

Killarney.87:

Was a similar story in 2007 when kilkenny played limerick wasn't a big demand in kilkenny for tickets, strolled into the city on the sunday morning to soak up a bit of atmostphere and picked up a ticket no bother... but it was still a sell out as far as i can remember.

Dunno HAG I heard that people were giving them to the police etc on the way in and they could not be got rid of.

Didn't know you were at that match, the bearer of bad luck for us :-)

I'm a Tipperary girl living in Dublin, from a big family so as a result I put the feelers out early for tickets and have come up with five and the whole family is sorted in tipp through other members getting the tickets elsewhere and our local club isnt giving out tickets til tonight!! Why cant the clubs give them out early in the week instead of leaving people hanging until friday night wondering if they have a ticket yet or not? Now my brother has to tell club that we are sorted and bear the wrath from them that we got ours else where! if they had given them out earlier we would not have gone elsewhere, when they were giving no guarantee in the first place that we would get anything. we are good match going family so we are damned if we do and damned if we dont! The GAA needs an overhaul, get some young people in to run it and get rid of the old crusties there for years

killarney87,

your predicting 40-45,000 from tipp anf 30,000 from kilkenny, so 6,000 dubs and 6,000 from galway, and 25-30,000 neutrals - is this match in the nou camp or croke park, the figures don't add up,

by the way i'm a neutral and i'll be there with the family

Yeah a Lmerick friend of mine rang me in 2007 and asked me if I wanted two tickets to the match. One of my mates and I headed along as tipp were in the minor. I think the official attendance that day was about 81,000

Read my thread again and you'll see you attributing bogus figures to me.

I reckon it will be something like this:

Tipperary 40,000
Kilkenny. 30,000
Galway. 2,000
Dublin. 2,000
--------------------
Total. 74,000
--------------------

Capacity is around 82,000 so on those estimates you'd need another 8,000 or so to fill the place.
