1023650 absolute disgrace dublin only getting 8,000 tickets was announced today
the oly county to bring a crowd to both league and championship matches and then they turn around and screw you over when they know they can fill it without you

God help you getting treated the same as every other county that gets to an All-Ireland. Theres Loyal supporters of every county that miss out on tickets every year because of how they are distributed, thats the way it is and its not going to change because the dubs are there.

yew tree....totally agree. Hill should be made available to both counties or else the Canal end should have a block of cheaper tickets.

just to clarify, I don't think its fair either, i think there should be far more tickets allocated to the participating counties, but the Dubs are only getting equal treatment, not getting "screwed" as you suggest

Typical post, some of these Dubs posters think every county should thank them for their existence and feel sorry for them for every little thing

Kerry will not be sympathising with you come throw-in so buck up & stop moaning

i know 4 lads from Leitrim that go down to Dublin on the Saturday by train for the past 10-12 years without tickets and have never missed a final. Alright, they aren't sitting together but they always get tickets. The sevens is supposed to be a good spot. Best of luck getting them! Dublin Abu!

captaincaveman - yeah was going to mention the canal/davin end. Used to class to see opposing ends years ago - one county at one end and the other the other end

There are always loads of tickets floating around on the walk up to Croker. Just keep your eyes peeled. You'll be sitting on your own and may pay a little above face value if you meet a stingy seller (rare enough though), but you'll get a ticket.
I've never bought a ticket and I haven't missed any of the recent Dublin v Kerry, Cork v Kerry or Tyrone v Kerry matches.

To be fair Dublin weren't in it in those years. I'd say they'll struggle to get one this year.

Absolutely diablode, there are always guys knocking about.

And the easy way around touts if you've no ticket and they're selling an €80 face value for €150, simply have say, €90 and some change in one pocket, keep your other monies well hidden, visibly empty your pocket of €90 & change and tell him it's all you've got - it's all profit to him

Couldn't even count how many times I've gotten into high profile events paying barely over the price to a tout like that.

Although publishing it on an Internet forum now means they're onto us!

Oops....

Ditto in my club its the grafters that don't usually get tickets - they are usually too busy re-arranging matches knocked out by the inter-county games. But I do think if you are a club member and you buy tickets all year round (league etc) from the same source you usually get what you want. Also even when there is a big sell-out you will see lots of empty seats (not one or two but rows) very frutrating that. Very irrating too when your standing in a half-empty Parnell park in March and your loyalty to the county gets trampled in a stampede of corporate scavengers and back scratchers com august.

True, but that's the flip side of getting to an All Ireland final arock, and it applies to any county really, there should be a loyalty tracking system of some kind

hag there was a full house for the first league match up in armagh and ask armagh supporters who were there there was huge dublin crowd.
why is it fair that countys who arent involved get tickets for a game and they wouldnt go and support there own team all year whinging about the cost of transport and ticket prices now that it is the most expensive tickets of the year they suddenly want to go

you could count the limerick supporters on 1 hand at the wexford match now ye get more tickets for the all ireland final not involving your county then supporters at your county games

What dose omagh hold around 18,000 what about the rest of the games and the fact that there was only 36,000 in croker when they played cork in the national league final for such an apparantly well supported team should they not have had least 50,000+ for a national final in your own city??

Thats got nothing to do with what i said.. I STRESS: I NEVER SAID IT WAS FAIR OR THAT I AGREED WITH IT! i said this is the same situation as every other year, and dublin are not being "screwed" for tickets or treated any more harshly than any other county that gets to the final year on year, as you suggested. Can you see the point I'm trying to make?
You consistently and deliberatly miss the point in debates that i've seen you involved in on this forum and i should have expected that kind of response
