What do people think about this massive game next Saturday night? One thing is for sure Croke Park will be rocking like never before.

Honestly.. I'd prefer to be in Tyrones shoes...
We've sat around for weeks now... Tyrone will be match sharp/fit. At this stage of the year that's so bloody important.
and to be honest the way we've been playing... I dont feel at all confident.

We can't rely on Tyrone to kick 20 wides this year.
Dublin are going to have to produce their best ever performance under Gilroy to beat Tyrone.

Should be great game given that Tyrone are hitting form at the right time. I think Tyrones revenege mission from last year may just carry hem over the line. Wouldn't fancy meeting them for a second time this year though

Hopefully a decent game in store for us.
I would rate Dublins chances as 50/50
Tyrone are a side who are alot older than Dublin. That could have one of two effects , It means they have the miles on the clock , They have all irelands in their back pocket and they have so much experience in important games. That is a huge positive for Tyrone , Meanwhile Dublin will have the younger side and therefore one would expect Dublin to be that little bit fitter.
Dublin have had the four week lay off which is one that alot of people will talk about in the build up to the game. Having said that i dont think that is an excuse , I think if Dublin go on to lose this game we wont and cant blame in on the 4 week gap. If anything , Tyrone may have momentum but they have played more games and as i mentioned already , with the age of this team it could work against them if Dublin come out of the traps
From a Dublin point of view if they want to win this game they have to out tyrone , tyrone. Dont let Tyrone settle cause if we do they will relax , gain in confidence and most likely win the game. We cant afford to start the game slow and rusty like we did the last time we played a quarter final having just won a leinster final against Kerry in 09. If we just defend diligently and if our forwards do their job up the other end of the pitch then i would be confident that we can rack up a few scores.
Goals win games and Dublin have scored the most goals this year. If they manage to score 2 goals or more i would be confident aswell. Im very very nervous about the game i have to say , And i for one certainly wont be under-estimating Tyrone , They are a great team and have the all ireland to prove it. All the mental strength , The skills and the players to beat Dublin. While Dublin have the fitness and the young legs to beat Tyrone.
Lets just see what happens anyway
Fingers crossed from my point of fiew for a Dublin win.

Theres nothing like a full house of soccer chanting Dublin fans to raise the blood of Tyrone folk.
The game is similar to 2008 when Dublin, who had been overrated as usual aagainst a Tyrone side who were given no chance. What was the result that day. Next saturday the parallells are equal in that Dublin are expoected to challenge for Sam, while Tyrone as we are continuosly reminded off are apparently over the hill, past their sell by date, havent got the legs YAWN YAWN YAWN.
I thought Roscommon would be in biggest danger in that complacency could have kicked in. Cavanagh showed signs of hunger against Roscommon, while the fact that Stephen O'Neill made his way onto the pitch was a massive statement of Tyrone's intent ahead of next weeks sell out. If Tyrone beat Dublin I fully expect them to win the All-Ireland. The reasons and tragedy at the start of the year are well documented and should be driving factors to their success.
Aslo expect Tyrone to go for the jugular from the start. Therefore expect our full forward line to read Mulligan, Sean Cavanagh and O'Neill.
lets do the roar...do the roar...do the roar....

In terms of ability , Tyrone should win comfortably enough. It doesnt always work like that. Look at last years game at this stage. Tyrone were all over Dublin and still managed to kick themselves out of it. Cant see that happening again. Gormley to take B. Brogan and if the former plays to his usual high standard I cant see Dublin really trouble Tyrone. Should be exciting though as the crowd will inevitably raise Dublins a game a notch.

Dublin have been heavily criticised for their Leinster Final display (I don't know of anybody who thinks Dublin will win the All-Ireland) and Tyrone are rightly regarded as contenders for the All-Ireland given their run through the qualifiers.
If you only listen to what you want to hear I suppose you'd come out with the above analysis.
If Tyrone are any good then they should beat Dublin, something they couldn't do last year.

Tyrone have all the answers to Dublin... they proved it before.
We got a run of luck last year.. and we took advantage of the back door root and caught an over confident Tyrone after the Monaghan game.
We will need to improve vastly on our championship performances to date. We've played one half of decent football to date in the 2011 Championship...
We'll soon see if we can address our problems... but the best way to do that is on the pitch! and we've been sitting around for 4 weeks...

In response to your comments I for one dont believe everything I hear. As a Dublin man all you have to do is read the media, the bulk of which are based in the capital and, continuosly jump on the Dublin bandwagon. In the past the Dublin players have bought into their over rated status. 2008 was a point in case. Once Brogan got injured Dunlin dropped their heads.
You can only sit back and reflect on something WHEN YOU HAVE ACHIEVED IT and sadly for this Dublin crop of players Leinster titles are no longer good enough.
THE GAA require and dare i say it NEED Dublin to win an ALL-Ireland title. Look at their investment into Dublin hurling and it is evident that the results are coming. But if every hurling county had similar investment then they would be DEMANDING results.
As for the Dublin footballers - the lure of soccer rugby immigration etc must be a concern as indeed it is in the rest of the Island but just because of an over rated elevated status doesnt give Dublin a right to be All-Ireland champions. They have to deliver on the field and when push comes to shove Dublin nine times out of ten inevitably fail.
Hopefully next weekens we can see a cracker just like the 125 festivities.

Come on Dublin let's time our peak to perfection this year. Let this be the game we do everything right and that our lads come back from injury. What happened in 08 - not relevant, what happened last year - not relevant. 2011 is a whole different ballgame.

It would be a great day for the GAA if Tyrone managed to put out Dublin. With their soccer chanting, whistles in the crowd and ignorant fans who need directions to get to Croker they truly are a blight on the sport. Tyrone are bubbling along nicely and beat Roscommon by 11 points without getting out of second gear. Tyrone by 4
