I'm tellin ya! London's recent run of handy draws is a fix to help promote our games to "them across the water". roundball (Tipperary) - Posts: 2514 - 09/07/2011 13:22:53 978825 Link 0 |

Must have to do with Murdoch's problems. The cheese is sliding of his cracker maybe but seriously it is good to see. Perhaps Mickey Harte was right all along about promoting London instead of Aussie Rules. doratheexplorer (Cavan) - Posts: 1467 - 09/07/2011 13:35:49 978840 Link 0 |

One thing I can never understand is the total (until today) blackout of GAA on sky sports. A channel which will report EVERY type of sport on earth. They dont even mention all ireland winners. with all the millions of irish in the UK, anybody know why they ignore our sport? yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11550 - 09/07/2011 14:34:13 978884 Link 0 |

Tribesman seem to be not showing it again, it was on since early this morning. Till around midday. Perhaps might do another one on match. Might be available online somewhere. doratheexplorer (Cavan) - Posts: 1467 - 09/07/2011 17:33:04 979024 Link 0 |

newryview - why not give gaa results so? - surely there are more people in the UK interested in GAA then the socre of a soccer game in peru or a rodeo in texas. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11550 - 10/07/2011 11:22:55 979382 Link 0 |
On that point, who won that rodeo in Texas the other night, I didn't get to see the result... OffalyBigBall (Offaly) - Posts: 635 - 10/07/2011 14:21:39 979545 Link 0 |
Sky Sports News have the GAA results in their text service. If a game ended 2-10 to 1.13 they give the score as 16-16. Gavmcfad (Donegal) - Posts: 45 - 10/07/2011 16:16:55 979674 Link 0 |
I always wondered, why in the summer months, when it's dead sports-wise, why they don't do GAA more. Padraig_Dub (Dublin) - Posts: 100 - 11/07/2011 13:03:55 980639 Link 0 |
I saw a report of the London Waterford game on it yesterday. They gave it plenty of time showed a good few of the scores and the two sendings off, but they still made a big deal of a "fracas" which they laughed at a bit patronisingly, but sure no publicity is bad publicity!
