Unionist MLA insults Tyrone GAA fans

By the way Mr McCrea should not have made the comments as he is a public representative.

But he only made them to annoy and wind people up. I am neither.

So he failed, with me anyway.

You would argue black was white Patrique.I know that Martin Mc Guinness entered politics because he is a republican,I also know that Willie Mc Crea is a Protestant supremacist who views Catholics and Catholicism with contempt, and that is Willie's reason for being in politics.Essentially,to save the north from the papist hordes of the rest of Ireland

That was the IMAGE he gave to get votes.

The REALITY was he was working with Sinn Fein on Magherafelt council from 1983. The DUP are rather good at that, condemning the SDLP/UUP power sharing executive, convinced their own voters they were not at Stormont, even though they held 4 ministerial seats. Which led directly to Sinn Fein/DUP sweeping to power. Only in N.Ireland eh?

I vote for Willie because his only viable opponent is a .....bigot.

Go figure.

The fact is this you numpties:

What does this lad ever care for what you or other nationalists or GAA supporters think about what he does or says about the GAA??!!

Obviously he DOES care, he follows the results.

But for electioneering purposes he pretends he doesn't, and says things some of his followers might want to hear.

Apart from that your post is spot on.

Thats strange because you previously stated that it was because "he was a great man at getting things done". So now you say it was an attempt at tactical voting.Next you will be saying you have grown a conscience and are considering abstaining next time around.

Actually Ulsterman, if you spent some time actually reading posts instead of looking for new and exciting things to hate you'd know I have no time for the rubbish that liathroid comes out with - it's on a par with the rubbish you come out with.

the man is entitled to his opinion and by the way he said nothing more than any of our noryhern resident biggots say on here every days, but as usual a pure mountain out of a molehill- i do honestly believe republicans/ nationalists would walk over hot coals to try show themselves as victims-do the same posters on her not celebrate when galsgow rangers lose- its a pure case of pot and kettle. at the end of the day arguing over who is more biggotted is all you are doing and noone is buying any of it in fact its laughable and when you look a politicans brief that includes reducing costs he maes complete sense in a business sense. remember folks republicans/ nationalists do not have a monopoly on being a biggot, i think ye must learn to share....

i too hope donegal beat londonderry- does that make me a biggot?

He is also not pedantic which also appeals to me.

Willie McCrea, although a bosom pal of Sinn Fein for nearly 30 years now, is an excellent MP. He gets things done.

He represents South Antrim. In South Antrim Westminster constituency the like of David Ford and Mitchell Mclaughlin would also be good MPS who get things done. But they are NOT going to win the seat.

So it is either Willie or his UUP opponent who will win. For about 3 elections his opponent was a man who went to QUB with me in the early 1970s who I would describe as a real Southern States of America white supremacist type of bigot. in short the type who would see Catholics as lesser beings.

Willie is a political bigot only.

So, Willie, prepared to work with people, chance of winning, gets things done, versus a man only interested in himself?

A no brainer.

for those with brains.

Of course I haven't always voted for Willie. I voted for Hughie Smyth PUP in one election as they needed every vote possible to keep them at the peace talks table.

Alas not enough people voted for them, leading to the events in East Belfast last week orchestrated by ONE man who feels he can challenge the "peace" makers.

Twitter and all social media should be used responsibly especially by those in positions of influence. This was probably a nice car. It is a shame what has become of it. This was an absolutely unjustifiable act. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-14007043
