The DUP's Ian McCrea has come in for stinging criticism after he expressed his delight that Tyrone, which forms part of his constituency, were beaten in yesterday's Ulster SFC semi-final. Sergeant_Slash (Cavan) - Posts: 2182 - 27/06/2011 13:32:55 967746 Link 0 |
i just read it there myself, disgraceful comments to be making from an elected representative. but i suppose the term "what do you expect from a pig but a grunt" applies here pig.ignorant (Derry) - Posts: 655 - 27/06/2011 13:38:25 967754 Link 0 |
Jesus another one of these threads, no surprise who started it either. paddyogall (Mayo) - Posts: 5110 - 27/06/2011 13:41:41 967764 Link 0 |
Do you think he got mixed up when London beat Fermanagh and he now thinks that London play Derry in the other semi final for the right to meet Donegal? Other than that I don't remember the last time Tyrone had a civic reception for winning an Ulster title. omaghredhand (Tyrone) - Posts: 3656 - 27/06/2011 13:43:32 967768 Link 0 |

I thought the MODS were going to clean up this site by removing WUMS like galling and his alter egos. Go on surprise me, a DUP man insults the GAA and people are surprised and offended?? Next thing you will be telling us the sky is blue and the moon is made of cheese. Wait for Croke Park's reply, they will fawn over this guy, issue invites left, right and centre and fall over themselves in brown nosing embarrassment while ignoring Ulster Gaels as usual. I wont get into a fight with you on this one Ulsterman, in fact I have changed my stance a bit on this issue and I agree with you. Public representatives whether that be elected or in the civil service should not be making secterian commnets on social media outlets such as twitter. People such as McCrea and others in the public sector are paid by the British exchequer to administer British rule in a nuetral fashion. paddyogall (Mayo) - Posts: 5110 - 27/06/2011 14:59:47 967957 Link 0 |

By the way did you ever answer the query about what makes a GAA player a star? omaghredhand (Tyrone) - Posts: 3656 - 27/06/2011 15:12:43 967987 Link 0 |

Is it any wonder that there's attacks on Orange Halls and GAA Clubs with public representatives coming out with such inflammatory remarks especially coming into the silly season July I think TWITTER is the right place for this little round man, well at least the first four letters of the social network site. fortyfive (Tyrone) - Posts: 5929 - 27/06/2011 15:17:08 968001 Link 0 |
