gooch all day...gooch unlike brogan doesnt have to depend on getting a vast number of scores to have a good day he is more a play maker he spots the pass others doesnt and that is what separates them for example both had off days in regards scoring in their last games but gooch was still influential in kerry winning OHalloranlover1 (Waterford) - Posts: 25 - 11/07/2011 16:56:04 981133 Link 0 |
One good season is right, he has been around a while and he only really played his best last season. One season doesn't make you a great player. HokeyPokey (Tyrone) - Posts: 1744 - 11/07/2011 17:06:14 981159 Link 0 |

Well in 09 against 16 kildare players in the leinster final Bernard ran amok. In 08 his season was ruined with a hamstring injury but still game on against tyrone and played well even doh we were getting hammered.in 07 leinster final against laois he had a great game and got a great goal. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 12/07/2011 14:21:25 982126 Link 0 |

gooch has done it when it MATTERED how many all irelands / allstars has he? a silly thread in my opinion bernard has good potential as does donie shine ciaran sheehan m murphy to be honest in better teams dessie dolan declan brown mattie forde benny coulter and possibly the bradley brothers would be not only be his equal but better. Gooch is up there on his todd come back in ten years when bernard has actually achieved something {maybe} before starting silly threads like this booboo (Cork) - Posts: 1382 - 13/07/2011 13:32:40 983107 Link 0 |
