Galway v Clare/Limerick v Wexford

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Lohansredhelmet, i do seem to recall womenurlimits making similar predictions prior to a certain matach in Tullamore ;-)

As for the two games, I think they could go either way. Wexford, despite the Cats match, are clearly over their worst patch and Limerick are the perfect oppostion. As Wexford as for Limerick so it has the makings of a close game. Maybe home advantage might swing it for Limerick plus another good day for Downes.

Galway/Clare will be tight as well unless Galway pull out one of their top drawer performances. If they approach Clare with the same nervousness they approached Dublin this year and Offaly last year then Clare with a similar start as against Tipp will beat them. Clare at 5/2 is good bet imho.

Lohansredhelmet, womenurlimits is Thurlesblues, please treat his posts accordingly:
In relation to the match, word is there is to be major surgery to the Galway team so God only knows what they will be like on Saturday.

Hurlingdub had Joe Canning not missed his 17 scoring chances Galway would have won. U cannot legislate for that. If Galway were playing Dublin again dis weekend I still tink Galway would beat them, in actual fact I thought Dublin would be better than what they performed against Galway. Dublin will get hammered on Sunday. Lohansredhelmet (sad name btw, lohan never performed in de big games. Most overrated full back ever) I can assure you I am not thurlesblues, ignore hurlingdub.

womenyourlimits, Lohan has two All Ireland medals and four All Stars. Clearly you are in a minority regarding his ability!

As for Canning, yes, maybe if Kelly had stood back to admire him he might have had the time and composure to put those chances and frees over. He didn't.

As for us getting a hammering, possible but I doubt it.

Hurlingdub,

I don't think you can give Kelly credit for most of those Canning wides, just of of those things, the best of them have off days.Good luck next Sunday.

I think we all know Joe will not have as bad a game again. If the team above is correct i'm glad that Farragher and Tannion are back. Farragher back on free duty and leave Joe to concentrate on being a forward without having to trek back every time we get a free. I might be being stupid here but the Hayes in the forward is Damien isn't it???

You obviously haven't a clue what you are talking about. Stating that a man with 4 All Stars, 2 All Ireland's as a full back and named on the Munster Hurling Team of the Millennium didn't perform in the Big Games and actually just sad and stupid. i feel sorry for you and you lack of knowledge.

Seriously that's not a bad team.

Feeling a little better now about Saturday. Will Farragher definely start in the half forwards though? Could be a few positional changes before the throw in...

I wish to revise my previous prediction I posted on this thread based on de fact that Damien Joyce is not playin, I now think de final score will be Galway 4.22 Clare 0.04!
