may have been a small abount of bias evident in my selection in fairness. Not too much scary about the Cavan jersey these day's more's the pity. Used to be good when they could give us a run for their (not often parted with) money.

Best: Waterford, Laois, Carlow and Monaghan.

Worst: Armagh, Tyrone, Antrim and Sligo.

However the Offaly away jersey is by far the nicest jersey I have seen this year.

Does anyone remember a few years ago the 'Breaking Ball' programme did an All-Ireland championship of Jerseys??

The Dubs won it (cue slagging) with a blonde bird modelling!!

The Dubs current jersey is the nicest in years bar none!!

Yes the Offaly away jersey is very nice. Pity about the footballers who wear it!

Don't really dislike any jersey - of course, its purely a matter of taste and bias. Though I do like the way the counties play in the same colours year on year. The only change I'm aware of is that Sligo changed from white with black to all black.

There has been some minor changes, I stand to be corrected but I think Donegal, Offaly and Leitrim all played in Green and Gold jerseys like Kerry - but Donegal changed to yellow/green; Leitrim to all green, Offaly green/white/gold.

Has any county changed colours in the last 50 years or so? I presume in the very early days they may have changed a bit, but as long as I'm watching they have played in the same main colours.

If pressed, I'd go for the Sligo gear. Carlow is probably the most unique and has a real love or hate thing about it. I like it, not so much the colour scheme but becasue of this uniqueness. Not sure about Antrim - saffron jersey is ok but the white shorts make the whole thing a bit pale.

Cavans jersey is traditionally royal blue but they changed it to navy blue in the 90s. Its kind of a mix of both now i think.

Your'e right about Donegal, I'm not sure about Leitrim. Since Ive been looking at matches in the 70's, Offaly have played in the green/white/gold. Maybe your thinking of the two times they played Kerry in th All-Ireland Final and both played in changed jerseys.

Dublin never had any navy colour until 1974 - someone on the county board thought the sky blue and white was a bit dull. Kilkenny went through a period of wearing black shorts but that was short lived. Roscommon used to have yellow with a blue band - like Clare.
