the limerick jersey is exactly the same as the jersey meath wore in 2002. the one they used against donegal that is (obviously different crest and sponsor)

@gigoer

I was in New York in summer of '05 and saw them get hammered at Gaelic Park by Galway. Actually got to play on the same pitch later on that summer. Hard as a rock. Sundays down there were often good craic, hundreds of Irish expats would head from all over the city o watch a few games involving clubs from around NY. Good times

On the subject of jerseys- Best = Carlow, Kildare, Dublin Worst = Kerry, Waterford, Westmeath

958635 I will elaborate on the Carlow jersey origins: It came from when the county football team was first formed (not sure of the exact year) but at the time there was a debate over what the colour of the county jersey should be. At the time the two best teams in the county were Graigecullen (Red & Green) and Milford (Green and yellow). They decided to amalgamate the clubs jerseys colours to form the 'county' jersy and the rest is history.

Please dont anyone from Laois come on here now and start the whole Graigue thing. They were playing in CW at the time and still should be if they were able to have manners!

Looking forward to seeing the county colours in Croker on the 26th!!

Manners is only for scallion aters

I like the Kerry top and also although I hate the county I think the tyrone top is nice, the sponsor just fits in perfectly to be honest, The galway jersey is nice too with the Cork one
Not to fond of the new tipp jersey, looks like cat scrapes on the side of it under the sponsor, Maybe thats the design their going for with the amount of times KK beat them. Not to impressed with the green kildare jersey either, Reminds me of a weed or something with that colour green
Worst - Carlow, Mayo, Wexford - Possibly the worst colours to put on a jersey

Not to fond of the new Mourne design in hoodies its like a 99 out of the ice cream van, has my mind dazzled with all them turns, would hypnotize you.

Best looking Jersey's and Club Crest is the Denver Gaels ones. One of the few teams from the US that are not in the Big Irish Cities wth their gear available from O'Neills website.

I like the last 2 limerick jerseys but the idea behind the new one was to go back to basics, they wanted something totally different from the previous one so they could draw a line under the strike etc.
