I see a few counties have updated the design of their jerseys yet again this year, Dublin, Cavan, Donegal, Tipperary to name a few, I know some due to change of sponsorship, others for the design element of it or so it would seem - this is all getting a bit Premiership-ish though, don't you think? gigoer (Wexford) - Posts: 1998 - 16/06/2011 14:14:55 957991 Link 0 |
Carlow always goes down well when am on holiday in the west Indies, Downs away strip last year was hideous but I guess if your team gets to an all Ireland final it don't matter a dit if your gear is up to much as long as the players wearing it is. fortyfive (Tyrone) - Posts: 5929 - 16/06/2011 15:03:34 958035 Link 0 |

Yeah that Limerick jersey is the nicest I've seen in a long time. Breffni40 (Cavan) - Posts: 12372 - 16/06/2011 15:20:52 958052 Link 0 |
Sadly we spend too much time on making the best jersies than playing but I would have to say that I think ours are the best closely followed by limericks new one.I also like dublin wexford and antrims is quite nice also TheBarrowsider (Carlow) - Posts: 82 - 16/06/2011 15:21:33 958053 Link 0 |

The Dublin jersey would look much better without the logo on it, I actually prefer it to the previous one which was brutal. Have to agree that the Limerick jersey on Sunday was really cool. Kenjg80 (Dublin) - Posts: 228 - 16/06/2011 15:22:28 958057 Link 0 |
To be fair, and i may be a bit biased here but Galway's new football jersey is our nicest in years. tribeinbrum (Galway) - Posts: 4155 - 16/06/2011 15:25:28 958063 Link 0 |
Carlow's jersey does seem popular but I don't really see why - it's basically a traffic light on a jersey gigoer (Wexford) - Posts: 1998 - 16/06/2011 15:26:54 958064 Link 0 |
Limerick have returned to the plain dark green with white numbers, I like it cos it's not flashy I agree with poster regarding Donegal Keeper jersey and the wexford mix of purple and gold is just not nice. I remember the Keeper jersey for Armagh good few years back by Benny Teirney was so colourful it would dazzle you and the county board were made alter it. Not trying to be smart here but traffic lights are red amber and green ;) TheBarrowsider (Carlow) - Posts: 82 - 16/06/2011 15:34:16 958074 Link 0 |
I think Cavan's jersey is the best. Don't see why people like the Carlow jersey, looks a bit hideous to me... Offalylad (Offaly) - Posts: 36 - 16/06/2011 15:36:32 958077 Link 0 |
